She Bites Back

Aurora huffed as she was working hard to help Benji. "Benjiii- they are taking to longgg!" She groaned as she took out her com. "Benji- how has everyone been without me..?" She asked, knowing that her assignment took forever.

'Well..umm..' he mumbled taking out his own com and turning it off. 'Ethan got married to a woman named Julie..but they broke up and Ethan went back to IMF..before getting sent to a Russian prison which I helped break him out of..' he said gently hold his hand out to her as she took it and held it.

"Well. At least he found someone. I only pretended to like Alexei to gain more rank and being able to gain trust faster. Helped alot but clouded my head.." she said as Benji gently rubbed her knuckles. "Anyway, how's the IMF been treating you Benji?" She asked smiling.

'Hey! It's been good I finally passed the field exam!'He said as Aurora cheered before hearing chatted on the com on the table.

She gently picked up the com and placed it into her ear. "How can double trouble help you today?" She asked smirking as Ethan chuckled.

"Hello trouble one, we have a small problem- Brandt can't get in." He said softly as he stood next to Brandt who was yelling in Russian.

Aurora rolled her eyes as she quickly worked on the machine in the Kremlin. "Tell the crazy man to hang on a second." She said as she hit enter and smirked over at Benji. "Done, have them try to scan it now." She said as Ethan tapped Brandt and whispered in Russian before Brant turned to the guard.

'Try it again!' He huffed out in Russian with a scoff as the guard quickly did so, it approved and they walked through. 'Took you long enough.' Brandt huffed out to the coms.

Aurora rolled her eyes. "Shut up Crazy and keep the mission going." She said as the redhead looked over at Benji, who was casually admiring her. "What?" The spitfire asked with concern.

He shrugged. 'Nothing darling, you are just an amazing human and I can't help but wonder..' he mumbled with a smile.

Aurora giggled. "Oh Benji, you are such a sweetheart!" She said gently blowing him a kiss, he caught it the 'kiss' and put it in his shirt pocket.

'Now it's always near my heart!' He said chuckling before putting the com back in and going back to working the cameras and making sure the Russians suspect nothing out of the group.

Aurora smiled as she watched the cameras. "Okay boys, find that bomb. It should be in the lower left side of the building." She commented.

Ethan huffed. "You two done flirting?" He scoffed at as him and William began to disarm the bomb.

"Im sorry Ethan, is our friendly banter bothering you that badly?" Aurora snarled back as Ethans tounge clicked.

"Do you ever shut up Aurora?" He asked as both William and Benji got wide-eyed.

"Do you ever do your job correctly without having high stakes?" She snapped back as Benji and William both inhaled sharply.

Ethan scoffed loudly as the finished up with the bomb. "We are going to have a long talk when we get back..." he growled out.

"Fine then. Hurry up and get here so we can talk." Aurora growled out as she took out her com and threw it onto the table as she got up and limped over to another chair, slumping down into it as she held her abdomen tight.

A few moments later Ethan and William came back to the safe house, Aurora was resting her eyes before being violently lifted up. "The hell!" She shouted as an extremely angry Ethan opened a spare room door and shoved her inside before slamming the door behind him. Aurora caught herself on the table, her hands gripping hard so she didn't fall as Ethan got in her face, leaning forward causing her to lean back onto the table.

"This is MY mission Aspen!! I saved your ass from becoming very dead!" He growled out, slamming his hands down next to her shoulders. Sweat dripping down his face as they stared at one another.

"I never asked for YOU of all people to come and save me Hunt! I never asked!" She snapped back as Ethan leaned down more, there chests colliding together.

"All I wanted was for you to come back to US soil Aurora. You make everything so damn difficult everytime!!" He shouted, the redhead infront of him closing her eyes as she took the screaming. He paused as he stared at her, before gently cupping her face in his left hand. "Go home. Send Benji and William with you..im doing this alone.." he said raising up and opening the door, leaving it open as Ethan grabbed a bag of gear and a gun.

'Hey! Where are you going?!' William shouted as Benji turned to Ethan.

"Go home guys..all of you. I'm doing this alone now." He said as he walked out the door and slammed it behind him.

William turned to the now open spare room and quickly walked toward it, standing in the door way and seeing Aurora laid on the table with small tears forming in her baby blue eyes. 'Shhh..shh..' William said, running toward her and gently placing his arms underneath her back and head. 'Slow..slowly raise up sugar I got you..' he said as Aurora did what he asked before collapsing onto him. A gentle sob breaking out on Williams shoulder. 'Shhh..shhh Aspen I got you..let it out..' he murmured into her ear gently.
