The elite four:Y/n vs Bertha

It was the next day and time for Y/n to battle another member of the elite four. The next elite Four member was Bertha the ground type specialist. Y/n had a plan for this though. He was already on the field waiting for his opponent to come.
Announcer:Y/n's opponent for today is the ground type specialist Bertha. !
Bertha walks out as the crowd seem to cheer harder. The referee walks onto his place to explain the rules.
Ref:Both of you will have the chance to use 5 pokemon each. The battle will be over once either of you lose all 5 pokemon. Now may both of you send out your first pokemon!
Both trainers send out their first pokemon.
Bertha:Go quagsire!
Y/n:Nova, I choose you!
Both pokemon canoe out of their poke balls as people in the crowd gasped in surprise as she dark type mythical pokemon took to the stage.
Ref:Bertha has the first move.
Bertha:Use toxic!
Y/n:Dodge and use dark void!
Quagsire sent a ball of poisonous liquid towards the dark type but Now simply vansished and appeared behind Quagsire. Before Bertha and her pokemon could react the water toe had already fallen asleep. To everyone's shock however Y/n immediately recalled his pokemon. And sent out his next.
Y/n:Pearl you're up!
Pearl:Ok daddy!
The baby pokemon leapt onto the field as Y/n Iniatied his strategy.
Y/n:Use take heart!
Pearl:Take heart
Hydro pump
Ice bean
Dazzling gleam
Pearl glowed pink as pink energy shaped as a heart emerged from the ground. However, Quagsire woke up and sent a toxic to Pearl. But to Bertha's shock she sees no signs of the poison and can only see that Pearl has gotten stronger and bulkier.
Y/n:Dazzling gleam!
Despite Quagsire being a but bulky the water type is take out instantly by the attack. Bertha recalled her pokemon and sent out Sudowoodo.
Bertha:Sucker punch!
Sudowoodo, despite being a literal tree us able to move at high speeds and slams her fist into the small water but the attack does much less damage then Bertha was hoping.
Y/n:Hydro pump!
A huge blast of pressurized water sends Sudowoodo flying but the tree was able to just about to hold on. Quicker then anyone could expect the tree has already gotten to Pearl and smashed into her with a head smash.
Y/n:Use take heart!
Another flash of pink covered Pearl as she became even stronger.
Bertha:Sucker punch!
Another speedy punch collides with Pearl but did even less damage then the last.
Y/n:Dazzling gleam!
A burst of pink light sends Sudowoodo flying over to Bertha's side of the field unconscious. She recalled her fallen pokemon and sends out her next.
Bertha:Go Golem!
The large boulder took the field as Y/n and Pearl were already on the attack.
Y/n:Hydro pump!
A burst of water slammed into Golem but to their dismay the boulder had the ability sturdy so she was able to hold on.
Bertha:Rock polish!
The rock shone brightly as she seemed more agile.
Y/n:Use ice beam!
Bertha:Use heavy slam!
Before the water type attack could form in her mouth, Pearl was crushed by the not very effective Heavy slam that still blew her away but the attack didn't end there.
Bertha:Earthquake!
The earth shook violently as cracks forned and by the tune the baby pokemon landed in the battlefield she was already consumed by the shifting earth, taking moderate damage.
Y/n:Dazzling gleam a burst of light emerged from the hole that Pearl found herself in as bits of the battlefield flew off as the light engulfed the entire arena. Even with the speed boost, Golem couldn't evade an attack that had this much range and combined with the family to that she was only able to continue battling due to her ability she was already knocked out before anyone could clear their eyes. Bertha recalled her Golem and see the out her penultimate pokemon.
Bertha:Go Wishcash.
But the fish didn't get to do anything as the second she entered battle, she was out as a dazzling gleam took her out. And the same was said about Bertha's ace Hippowdon as the large ground type was sent flying with a hydro pump. Giving Y/n the win.
