It's been a few weeks since I adopted (y/n). He's such a sweet boy, but he's become obsessed with beating Sango, but now that she knows about his Shikai it's all in vain. "Mama!" (y/nn) said as he ran at me and jumped into my arms, "You lost your match didn't you?" I asked, "Yeah." he said, "(y/n) I'd like you to start training for Bankai. Since it will take ten years at the least it's best to start you on it early." I said, "How?" he asked, "That's part of your training. If you work hard and don't give up I know you will succeed." I said sweetly.
(y/n) POV
"Set your heart ablaze, Rengoku." I said as my Shikai formed on my arm, I closed my eyes and focused, "You wish to meet me. Very well." Rengoku said.
When I opened my eyes I found myself in an infinitely dark void, "Where are you looking child?" Rengoku said as I turned around to see them and watched the darkness vanish.

"I am Rengoku the gentle flame. It is a pleasure to finally meet you, my master." she said, "I am Kenpachi (y/n)!" I said, "Maybe one day, but for now you are simply (y/n) Unohana." she said as she petted me, "Now you came here to learn the secrets of Bankai, however, I will not teach them to you until you prove to me that you are strong enough to wield me. You've only just achieved your Shikai during your fight with Sango." she said, "Now I think it's time you woke up." she said as the darkness engulfed me.
"RENGOKU!" I shouted as I sat up, "Aw you woke up. Hey go back to sleep for a while!" a girl said as I looked at her.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Sango said as she picked the girl up by her clothes, "Sango who are you talking to?" Mama asked, "Sorry Ma'am, my niece snuck into the barracks again. She's actually named after you Captain. Meet Yachiru Kusajishi." Sango said. "Captain we have that mission to attend to. I have to take Yachi back to her mother, maybe she could watch (y/n) too." Sango said, "Yes that would be for the best." Mama said.
"Your mom told me that you're training for Bankai." Sango said as we rounded a corner, "If there's anyone who can help you learn the secrets of Bankai training, it's my sister Setsuna. She's the strongest reaper I know aside from your mother. It's no wonder why she's known as the undisputed queen of squad 13." she said as she opened squad 13's gates, "YA! CHI! RU!" a woman said angrily as she stormed toward us, "A-ALRIGHT BYE KIDS! SIS, IT'S NICE SEEING YOU! BYE!" Sango shouted as she sprinted away while her sister came into view.

"Hi, M-Mama." Yachiru said nervously, "I told you not to run off alone. Oh hello there." Setsuna said as she looked at me, "Yachiru did you make a friend? Hi, I'm Yachiru's mother, Setsuna Minami." she said sweetly.
"So you're trying to learn Bankai." Setsuna said, "Yeah." I said, "For a child, your age to attempt this is unheard of. But I'm proud that you are trying. So let me give you a hint on how to start." she said, "Build a relationship with your Zanpakuto. I took mine to dinner with me and my now late husband and built a great relationship with them over a few short years." she said.
Unohana POV
"That was far more difficult than I thought it'd be." I said exhausted as I entered my home and found my son having a romantic candle-lit dinner with his sealed Zanpakuto. "What on earth is going on here?" I asked, "Help me!" he whispered, "She too clingy!" he whispered, "Ok sweetie, how about you and I finish this food and then go cuddle in bed." I said as I moved his Zanpakuto and sat with him.
I know I've been mixing a lot of Demon Slayer with Bleach, so here have a doughnut.
