"bakugo! how did you do that move during training earlier? it was so flashy and manly!" kirishima praised his best friend, patting him on the back.
"it's cause i'm better than all of these extras!" bakugos ego was at an all time high, but when is it not?
"psh, did you see y/n today? she was totally kicking it! I mean, she literally was! she kicked mineta right between his legs." mina deflected, but when she went to talk to her, she realized that y/n wasn't paying attention.
y/n's attention was on the red and white hair sitting at the table diagonal to hers. she sees him talking to his friends without moving his facial expressions. but sometimes she catches him with a faint smile that makes her smile brighter.
why, oh why, does she have to have feelings for this boy. is it just cause he's always friendly to her? is it cause he's attractive? who knows, but y/n was falling deep.
correction: she already fell deep into the hole of love.
"hey! y/n!" mina quickly snapped at her which regained the h/c hair colored girl, "are you staring at mr. no expressions again?"
"yesn't." y/n responded as picked up her chopsticks and continued eating her food, clearly flustered at mina's expression, "also he does do expressions."
"you totally were! you should've seen yourself!" denki exclaimed scooting closer to her, "her pupils totally changed into hearts when she was looking at him! and also she was-"
"dunceface, if you say one more thing i will kick you right where it hurts, just like what i did to mineta." y/n pointed her chopsticks at him.
denki just nodded his head and scooted farther away from y/n.
"y/n, that's not manly!"
"you finally said something funny for once." bakugo let out a soft expression, opposite from his regular demeanor.
she just rolled his eyes at him and flipped him off, which made him go back to his regular pissy mood expression and stuck up his middle finger back at her.
"y/n, you have to admit it! you are totally swooning over him!" mina put her shoulder around her best friend.
"i never said i didn't like him. i just wish he knew i like him." she replied, finishing her food.
