Pokémon: The Soul Victory (not Finished)

Chapter One: New Start

Player Pov

It was a nice day, leaning apon a beanbag that was in the moving truck. I don't believe to know why I was put there, but heck it was kinda comfortable. Soon enough I was fully awakened to the stop, and opening of the truck doors Jumping out in excitement. "Finally here!" I'd say looking around, it was a small town with a few people, one of them being mom. "hello sweetheart! We're finally here, we took a long Travel here let's get settled in for some food and unpacking" she said with a smile, but for me a grown "but mom! I'm Finally old enough for a Pokemon, and I want to get one as soon as possible!" I was impatient abit, after all it's been a dream to become champion of my old town, but now with this vast Region I was even more hyped. "Not now ok? Let's just get stuff in" she said, guess I couldn't right now.

After a few minutes unpacking, lucky with the help of some Pokemon i was ready to go tho soon being called down by my mom "Hun come down quick! Your father is on!" She said. Father, he was one of the Gym leaders of this region, and soon knowing that, if I wanted to become champion...I'd have to beat him. I know he's a tough man, heck I remember all of his friends struggling to beat him. Guess that's how he became a leader. I quickly rushed down to hopefully catch a glimpse but looks like I missed him. "Dang.." I'd say as mom looked at me "I'm sorry you missed it.. but hey! I just found are neighbors, they have a daughter of the professor, how about you go introduce yourself hm?" She said and as soon as I heard that, I was so ready to go say hi, after all what's an adventure without a friend or two.

Going over I was greeted by the professors wife, had a small conversation with her she was nice. Then I was told to meet her daughter upstairs, not even getting a name, guess she'd tell me. Soon heading up i hear a girl and then seeing her at her desk "items packed..and.." she looked over as I kinda just froze, didn't expect that quick turn. She smiled and jolted over "hey there! I'm May! I'm supper glad to meet you, my dream is to become friends with pokémon all over the world!" She said and boy was that on topic "ah yes, I'm (whatever name you want) I'm the son of Norman my dream is to become the champion" I'd say with a slight boost of confidence, guess mays hype helped abit. She smiled as she looked super happy "wow! That's cool, maybe I can help!" She said as I looked in shock "really?" Is reply as she nods "I can help ..wait I need to help my dad on the field! I'll be back later friend!" She said and ran off, boy was she fast. Anyway going down and outside I heard a boy In worry, I go over to check it out and the boy was saying how he heard a cry for help, saying no one has come over. Time to be a hero! After all what champion doesn't come to someones rescue, going over in a rush I see the professor being chased by some poochyena. He told me to grab a PokeBall from the floor of the bag. I saw Three, I grabbed one from the bag and sent it out. It was a green lizard like Mon, as he came out it crossed it's arms. "I need help saving the professor!" He said as the green lizard looked as him and then nods, pounding the wild dog as it ran off.

Soon enough he thanked me and let me in his lab. "I'd like to thank you so much for helping me, I had no way to get to the mons, looks like you handled treecko well" he said. Treecko..he looked so cool I couldn't help but almost feel as is me and him already had a bond, as he glared with a smile and a nod. "As a thanks, and knowing your Normans kid..how about you take treecko as your starter" he said. I instantly gleed "Really?! I'd love that so much!" I said as he nods "of course, your adventures start off with a starter after all" he said. After a few more mins of small talk, I went home to explain all this to my mom, she was getting emotional already, hugging me to death basically, but I will admit I'd miss her. And promised to visit anytime I could. She nods, hands me some shoes and left me on my way, I actually had treecko out so we could bond abit and I already felt like the start of this journey, was gonna be the best.
