Chapter Two: Battle After Battle

Third person pov

Traveling across the lands have lead you and your Treecko to see alot over only the first coming Routes, Leveling up, and Fighting may for the first time, the first Trainer battle, may sure put up a fight but you manage to Squeeze By 

Player POV
"Wow may- I'm surprised! Your really good!" I would say spraying a potion to heal treecko, I was surprised on how I even won. May looked to be semi embarrassed as I said that "I do try my best, I appreciate hearing that! Hee let's go back to my dad's lab, last time I promise! He wants to give you one more thing" she said hoping down a ledge.  I couldn't help but laugh as treecko gained a smug grin, seeing this I blinked "What?" I would say as the I heard a Snicker then a shrug. I couldn't help but already feel are bond Rising, as of recently of just walking together he doesn't want to be in his PokeBall, so I let him ride on my head.

Soon after reaching the lab I was presented with a Pokedex I was so happy to get this. "Today is the day your journey truly Begins- better visit or else" birch said with a laugh at the end. "I promise I will thank you so much!" I'd say as then may walks over "and here are some pokeballs! Cant fill the dex without them!" She said with a little finger wag. I smiled as I took them and put them in my bag "thank you too may!" I said. After a few short conversations and another sob fest from my mom even tho it was just a few hours ago we talked, I was now officially out into the world!

Running through the route I was there to find my first ever wild Pokemon, I realized my treecko was very over leveled for this route, anything I would try to catch faints! I really wish I could catch even when fainted.. this was alot of battling and I really just wanted a Pokemon from the first route, I went to sit down and just sigh In defeat as treecko saw this and walked over. "I know it sounds dumb but I really want to not abandon the whole first route thing bud, not alot do that I want to take the little guy as far as I can-" I said as I felt treecko pet my back. I'm glad a picked Treecko, I pat his head till hearing a small rustle of the grass. Looking over I saw a wurmple head, but as I saw it it quickly hid again, I saw this and decided to call out to it "hey little guy it's ok, you can come out I'm not battling." I would say as the wurmple peaked back out, crawling over kinda slowly. He seemed to have a small berri piece with him as he nudged it over. "Aw..thank you but it's yours you should re-" I was cut off by a Growl of you guessed it a.. zigzagoon? Huh thought it was a pooch. Seeing this it seemed to be charged after the wurmple I had to act "Treecko absorb!" I'd say as treecko quickly did as said standing in front of the wurmple as the zig tried to bolt over being hit by the attack. I saw this and saw the wurmple as his eyes got all sparkly, the zig was hurt but I guess didn't feint as he fled. "Thanks treecko!" I would say as he did some heroic pose I laughed at. The wurmple was hugging at treeckos leg, guess he was trying to say thanks.

I let the wurmple stay abit as he watched some battles I was doing, and of course failing to catch. I went to walk back amd saw the wurmple crawling out of the bag rolling one of the pokeballs. Crouching down the wurmple looked up "do..you want to be caught" I asked as the wurmple crawls out trying to use attacks on a tree, without even knowing what he was saying, I think I figured it out "you wanna grow stronger and help beat the champion with me?" I asked as the wurmple looked up eyes sparkling again. I chuckled abit and grabbed the PokeBall holding it out to him, of course crouching down so he could. He booped the PokeBall, one, two, three, ping. I couldn't believe it I smiled and squeeked abid holding the PokeBall close and then taking out wurmple as he already seemed to be happy "I'm going to keep my promise, let's train together ok?" I said as the wurmple nods. And for the rest of the day we trained, until the sun set and we slept down under the sky's of hoenn Region.
