Mauve is a pokemon trainer from the town of Oldale. Growing up in such a small village she had seen dozens of trainers pass by. They all got a pokemon from proffessor Birch and they were going to travel and persue their dreams of becoming a pokemon trainer. Now it's Mauve's turn.

Moss the Treecko is being drowned in the stress of leading a group, and after their only Healer Snow falls ill, he sets off on a journey to find The Cristal Tree, the only hope of life. Volt the Wattrel, Flame the Cyndaquil and Shade the Eevee all join Moss on his quest, and only fate know where they will go.

Starter pokémon are bred for one purpose, and one purpose only: battle. So what does one do if that's not what his trainer wants?

In the world of Pokemon, things have been peaceful. That is, until earthquakes plagued the land, bringing chaos and uncertainty to the world.
