chapter 2 forceful but plesant meeting

A few days passed and I was summoned for the second time to go to Diavolos castle. I sigh and stand up and head down to the Devildom.

                                                                                          Diavolo's pov

"I am so excited to see that beautiful angel Lucifer again. I know he is very interesting and will open up soon." I say to Barbatos. I hear a knock at the front door and go over to open the door this time instead of Barbatos. I open the door with a wide smile and say "I'm glad you came back please come in. Would you like some tea?" He just glares at me and says "Sure I will have some, but if it turns out to have something that shouldn't be in it you will regret the day you were born."

                                                                                               Lucifers pov

This demon is being quite strange. That's for sure he laughed at what he must have assumed was a joke, but I was being serious, but at least I know he won't pull anything. He leads me to a table set with a nice looking tea set. With pastries and sandwiches for something to eat. After I sit, His butler comes over and serves me tea and gives me some sandwiches and pastries. This demon is very peculiar; he likes tea and seems to like nice tea sets. I didn't think demons liked similar things to angels, but that is beside the point. I just have to get done with this so I can go back to my duties in the celestial realm. I hesitantly tried the food and the tea and surprisingly they were amazing and I didn't feel weird or off so there was nothing wrong with them. Diavolo says "So Lucifer I know you're a powerful angel, but that is it. I don't know anything past that , so tell me what's your family like and what do you do for fun?" I give him a suspicious look but answer "Well I have 8 brothers and a father and I enjoy reading and listening to records when I have free time." He gives me an even bigger smile which I didn't think was even possible, but he did. I have that feeling deep inside me again. It's a sort of intrigue and want towards him. I don't understand he's a demon. I shake my head to get these thoughts out of my head. Diavolo says "Very interesting I have never had siblings, but I assume it must be fun. I am glad you decided to join me again. Since the last time we talked, have your thoughts on my proposal changed?" I just look at him observing him for a moment before saying "I still think it is a childish idea that could never work, but the outcome itself isn't horrible, but how do you know all angels will agree? How do you know that the powerful sorcerers will agree? And how will you actually execute this plan of yours? Do you even have a plan or are you just winging it?" After asking my questions I look at him to see his face. He looks like he is processing all the questions I just asked him. He responds with "Well My plan starts with you. I figure if I can get to know you and we become friendly, the angels and the humans will see that demons aren't a threat and I just want everyone to live in harmony peacefully and I have no negative intentions." I think about what he has just said. I mean it is a halfwitted idea, but he does seem to have thought it through even the slightest bit. I guess I could humor him for now. We enjoy our tea and food and just get to know each other for another few hours and then it is time for me to head back. I leave with a goodbye and I feel that feeling inside me has grown.
