Next day

I like it when you skipped. I don't have to deal with my mother. You don't need to describe in narration about what happened yesterday when I got home. I don't like it to repeat bad things happen to me. What else you can tell the readers? My mother beat me? That's not something new to hear anyway.

Let's forget that, why do we lived in this world? The question once I heard accidentally on TV. In a talk show the host asking the guest about why do we lived in this world for, it's because destiny lead us to this kind of life? Or we made our own destiny?

Ask me and I will answer with the wisest answer you have all heard in your life. Why do we live in this world, just because we are alive, and hungry, we have needs, we have wants. All I need and want is to eat and think only happy thoughts. Like in Smurf village we always help each other no matter how nosy and annoyed you are. In the troll village we hug each other every 30 minutes because of how affectionate and tender the people there are. That's why we live.

No, what am I saying. I mean, I'm at work right now, I pack clothes according to the customer's name and then put them on the shelf until the owner picks them up. Working in a laundry shop is fun. It was as if I was doing housework without being pressured. I enjoyed it. A lot. I meet a lot of people every day, interact with them when I usually don't. Although I can feel Mrs. Milesburg doesn't really like me, she talks to me only when she needs me to do something for her. Much different from the way Mr. Milesburg treated me.

I promise to also help him delivered the laundry to the costumer's houses today. I made my won design on my bike by putting a bigger basket so I can loaded more clothes in there. When I'm ready, I'm going. Starting with the nearest.

"...you're welcome."

Finally, the last one belonged to the man who lived in the hill House. On the way there is torture, I have to lived through the long incline, but that's fine, he pay me for this, so I have to do the work for him. When did I even complain about how hard my life is anyway. Never. Smirking while I pedal my bike with full spirit.

"Oh my God, this is crazy."

I say on the ground breathing heavily, desperately gasping for air and look down to the road with smirk. I can defeat you this time, and I will do it again tomorrow.

I get up after recharging my energy with water, and then walking to the small box that turns out, there's a bell inside of it. I sigh in disbelief of how innocent I was. I press the bell once and wait for the owner open its gates. After a few minutes waiting, the gate is open. I take the laundry and hold it.

"I can't believe you really came when I told you not to." He shoved his hands I abuse his pockets. He always wear black all the time. I just smile to him.

"I made promise to you that I will delivered you laundry for a week, so that's what I do now."

"I never wanted you to do that. I told you to just keep the money."

"I know, Sir, but money is the thing I earn after my work hard. I don't want you to give me for nothing because you feel sorry for me."

"I'm not feeling sorry for you."

"That's good, here's you laundry." I give him the paper bag for him but he doesn't take it.

"Bring it inside."

He turn around as I follow him. I sigh and I make sure my bike is safe so I bring the bike and parked inside the gates. And then I follow him.

He told me to put the laundry in the same table when the last time I'm here. I was about to leave from here after I do my work because it will soon getting dark. But I need to asks something that makes me curious.
