Better if we never met....

Jiwoo was embarrassed little bit. Baekah saw that a bicycle was coming towards Jiwoo on full speed.
Suddenly he pulled Jiwoo towards him. Jiwoo heartbeat stopped working for a bit. She was astonished. After some times they came into reality.

It was 10 pm

"Can I drop you at your house?" Baekah asked Jiwoo looking for permission.
"No, it's okay. I can call a taxi." Jiwoo said.

It was already late and no taxi stopped for Jiwoo.

Baekah went to his car and started it and said Jiwoo to sit in it.

Jiwoo didn't argue much and sat silently on the car.
There was pindrop silent in the car. When Jiwoo's home arrived.

She got out of car and told," Thank You Mr. Yoon for the ride."

Baekah didn't tell anything and he too got out of car.
"Can I get a cup of coffee?" Baekah asked Jiwoo from back.

Jiwoo replied " Who drinks coffee at this hour? Okay fine, come inside."
Baekah went inside with her.

Baekah said "Sorry for the inconveniences but...."
"It's okay, you can go after drinking your coffee"

They both were silent.

Suddenly Baekah asked, "Didn't you really miss me once in this 8 years?"
Jiwoo remained silent for a minute and ignored the question.

Baekah again asked from back," Are you happy without me or did you find someone else....."

"Enough!!" Jiwoo cut the sentence. She moved towards Baekah.
"What do you think of yourself? Or am I a joke to you? In my head, I had always loved you by myself. You say I'm unfamiliar, changed into the one you used to like. You say I'm not myself which you knew well. Then, are you the same Baekah which I knew from past?. I suffered silently when you left me. It was me who got hurt and was abandoned by you....."
Jiwoo broke into tears.

Baekah apologized for his past mistakes and asked Jiwoo for forgiveness. Jiwoo needed an explanation.

Baekah said,"My parents chose to expand their business on abroad. And I didn't have a option. What if you had reacted unnaturally?? What if it had made you angry? That's why I couldn't say the things. But believe me, you are the only girl I wished for." Baekah broke into tears.

Jiwoo," You should have informed me. We would've overcame it. But you didn't do that. It was me who got hurt herself and even you didn't care...."

Baekah," I cared Jiwoo...."
Jiwoo," Let me speak today. I'm holding this for past 8 years."

After those long conversation it was night 1 AM.
Baekah got up to go his home. While going Jiwoo called him from back, "Baekah.... It would have better if we never met."
Baekah didn't say anything and moved forward. Baekah was crying silently inside him.

After 5 months.
New year was around corner. Their friends again planned for a reunion.
In a Convience Store Jiwoo and Baekah met again. Jiwoo smiled politely not showing any emotions. Baekah did maintain the formality.

"Are you coming to the reunion?" Baekah asked Jiwoo from her back.
"No, I am not coming." Jiwoo said smiling slightly and asked,"What about you?"
Baekah," No, I'm going back to Canada after 2 days."

They looked each other and smiled slightly. And they moved forward in the opposite direction.
And they never met again afterwards....

They both went on their opposite direction.
