“THERE'S NO WAY YOU ARE DOING THAT!” he yelled at me and gets up. I started to tear up and Theo looks at me.
I just asked my dad if I can visit my mother and sister. Dad goes to the knives and grabs one. I start to panic and grab Theo's hand. Seeing that it's just me, Theo, dad and Marius here, he can do whatever he wants.
“Stop it! You threaten your daughter with a knife? Didn't you say you were a perfect father? “ Theo tells him, and Dad stops and puts the knife down.
“If you think you can say something like that and get away with it, you're wrong, young lady! You will not leave the house until I let you. And a month from today, you won't even leave your room without asking me first! Do you understand?”
“Yes.”
“I said, do you understand?”
“Yes sir.”

It's 10:34 PM, and I'm watching a movie in my room. My father even deleted my mom's number so I can't speak with her.
Suddenly, Theo opens the door and walks inside. “What are you doing here?” He sits down next to me and looks at me. He seems very focused.
“Does your father do this often? You know you could call the police if he does. And besides, I don't think he is entitled to forbid you to see your mother.”
He is right. The police could really do something, but seeing that dad is good friends with the officers I don't think they would do anything.
“It's ok. It's actually the first time he's done it. He was probably already upset, and I made him even more upset. He is actually a wonderful father. “
“Clarity. You can tell me if you experience any problems with him. You know, I have an apartment. Furthermore, you could stay there—with me—if you'd like.”
It would be nice, but obviously, my father wouldn't let me. I could tell him that I go to school but go to Theo. But when he will see that I didn't come in time, he would have dozens of people looking for me, and when he will find me, he will kill Theo.
“I have no difficulties here. And even if I had, I don't think moving in with you would help. So, no, I will not come to your apartment. But thank you.”
“OK. However if you change your mind because I still don't think you're good here, you can tell me. You can come to me anytime.” he tells me and leaves my room.
I'm really starting to think Theo is a good boy. Nevertheless I don't see any future that includes both of us together.
