Mika

Mikas grip around your torso tightened as well as a few distressing groans left his lips. You jolted awake as you felt him squeeze your torso a few times.

The alarm clock sitting on the draw read 3:32am, you manage to gently loosen Mikas grip and turn around to face him, even if he was still sound asleep the tiny droplets of sweat on his forehead and the quiet sounds escaping his lips made you want to wake him up.

Blinking a few times, you carefully sit up and place both your hands on his shoulders, gently shaking him and trying to free him from another nightmare. You gently shake his shoulders and tried call out to him, his eyes opened wide as he looked up at you.

Nightmares with your lover were unfortunately common. Little Mika suffered nightmares at least two to three times a week however knowing you were right there beside him also made them bearable.

Mika just looked up at you, his breathing was a little fast but he was trying to control it. You looked down at him with a warm smile, guilt wrapped around Mikas heart, he hated having to disturb your sleep and constantly worried that you'll he sick of him, but you were always there when he needed you.

"M' so sorry for waking you up.."
Mika mumbled, sleepiness clear in his voice

"It's not your fault, Mika please don't think it's your fault."
You look down at him, he looks back up at you. His eyes were full of sadness which he tried to blink away, you gave him a small smile.

"Mika are you okay with being touched right now?
Mika nodded his head and snuggled closer to you, your hand fell into his hair and ran your fingers through it. Mika focused on your heart beat one of the most relaxing things in his life.

"Would you like some water or anything?"
Mika just nodded his head, his eyes shut as he let out a warm sigh.

"Let's just go back to sleep.. i'll try not to worry you again"
As soon as those words left Mikas lips your eyes were already closed, enjoying the feeling of your lover finding as much comfort in you as you did with him, your heart flutters as you go to kiss the crown of his head.

"Sweet dreams Mika"

Mika prepared himself for another nightmare but as he grew sleepier and sleepier, he didn't care. He just wanted to rest in his lovers arms. In your arms Mika felt safe, safe enough to be vulnerable around you and safe enough to trust you with his troubles.
