Temporal Twist

On the day of his graduation from Advanced Nurturing High School, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka is mysteriously booted backwards in time to the very first day of school... Along with everybody else in his class. Naturally, everything goes completely off the rails.

It had been exactly two days since Yamauchi was dealt with. The class that I controlled sat upright in their seats, staring attentively at the door as they waited for Chabashira-sensei to enter. A current of unspoken excitement raced around the room. Everybody inside of the class wanted to find out what we were going to do today.

Yesterday, we all played on our phones during Chabashira-sensei's class. Before she entered, we already had gotten immersed in our devices, and nobody spared her a glance as she strode into the room.

For her part, Chabashira was only able to preach irrelevant words to a room full of deaf ears. After all, any chastisement that she would give could be seen as an attempt to force Class D to behave and keep their class points up. Before the S-system was revealed, teachers weren't allowed to seriously  regulate the behavior of their classes, otherwise it could affect our evaluation.

To put it simply, we could do whatever we wanted, and Chabashira-sensei was utterly powerless to stop us.

The door to the classroom slowly creaked open. The gorgeous woman scanned the class with narrowed eyes, before relaxing minutely as she noticed everybody's focus on her.

"Alright, Class D." She began. "Today in Japanese History, we will be..." I immediately tuned her voice out. I didn't care what she was talking about, I was just curious to see who planned to act today.

After another few minutes, my senses finally noticed something abnormal. Sudo had quietly and carefully pulled an entire basketball out of his bag. Because he was seated at the back of the class, only sensei was able to clearly see his action. Her brow twitched with irritation, but she resolutely continued to teach.

Sudou, now crouched on his desk, casually tossed a pencil forward into the classroom, where it rolled innocuously over to the feet of one Kyosuke Okitani. The brown-haired boy hummed and got out of his seat, bending over to pick it up.

Okitani straightened up and held the pencil out. "Excus-"

He cut himself off, eyes widening as he watched a redheaded boy leap over several rows of desks towards his position. He frantically brought his arms up to protect his face. Mii-Chan quickly stood from her desk behind him and held her arms out in a circle.

Bang! With a loud crash, Sudo pushed Okitani down under his soaring frame and slammed the basketball in his hand through the "hoop" that Mii-chan had created with her arms. In the process, he managed to knock poor Okitani's desk over as well, but that was neither here nor there.

"Get dunked on, raaargh!" Ken screamed, striking a victorious pose over the stunned body of Okitani. For his part, the brown haired boy simply stared at the ceiling, shellshocked.

"... I can't believe you've done this." He spoke, sending the class into paroxysms of laughter. Sudo had begun to beat his arms against his chest like a gorilla, reveling in the chanting of his name.

Chairs had begun to be scraped back as people shot to their feet, sucked into the raucous atmosphere that overwhelmed the room. I noticed Kei was standing on her desk, holding out her arms in a ring overtop of the unsuspecting, laughing Matsushita.

Sudo gripped the basketball and Chiaki giggled merrily. He turned to face her, then braced his legs to jump. Twitching, Chiaki slowly turned around and stared Kei in the face. She stopped laughing.
