TEARS falling down on your face, 'why, why, why?' You kept asking yourself. You gasp for air, you didn't even know you were going to have a panic attack. you weren't watching where you were running and bumped into someone, luckily it was one of your closest friends. Xiao.
"watch whe- y/n? Hey, hey, hey what happened?" He didn't know what came over him but for awhile his heart would start beating faster than before it's always around you. It's making him think he has some kind of addiction towards you, "hey breathe, in and out that's great, you're doing great." His voice soothe your breaths and mind. Sniffing here and there you decided to talk.
"Xiao he cheated on me... after I've done everything for him." You gasp and tried to calm yourself down before starting to tear up once again. It angered and sadden xiao to see you like this, for someone this pathetic to cross over the line and hurt you. Hurt your delicate heart.
"Let's go to my place I can make your favorite drink like always," he slightly smile for comfort and you just nodded.

Xiao opened the door and let you in first as he closed the door once again. "Here take a seat on the couch I'll make you some of your favorite drink and snacks," you nodded once again and whispered an 'thank you' making your way to his white modern couch. Once you sat, you immediately looked around seeing, pictures of you and him, him and venti, him with his parents and siblings, but one of them caught your eye, specifically it was a picture of you, smiling. You remembered the memory that day. Your lips curved into a smile, that's when you guys went to a theme park and just ditched school together. You laughed softly shaking your head.
"Here it's [f/d] and some of your snacks you love when coming over." He put the drinks and snacks on the small coffee table and brushed his hair with his fingers. "That was tiring, but how are you? Feeling better?" He crossed his arms well his signature pose you can say.
"I do now! thank you very much, you very nice gentleman!" You smiled and awaited to see reaction. "Hey! I'm just doing what others be doing!" He snapped but his cheeks says another thing, "Sure sure" you waved your hand and slowly retreated back. "Thank you again xiao you really are my comfort" you said looking down at the snacks taking a deep breath you once again said "let's just watch a movie yeah?" Xiao too stunned or flustered to speak he nodded.
The movie played 'Up' you were enjoying the movie crying here and there laughing, while xiao. Xiao is just admiring you. Your sweet smile, your laughing, even if your puffy eyes are red, even if your hair is messy, he still finds you beautiful.
"Y/n you look so beautiful." Xiao's words slipped out of his mouth and you looked at him stunned, you even felt your cheeks getting warmer every second goes by. This made you flushed and turn around quickly waving your hands everywhere attempting to make a sentence, "t-that's- haha- out of nowhere! Well- you're cute WAIT SHIT IGNORE THAT- Just ignore what I said!!" You just shut your mouth and not even trying to say anything because you know if you try and say something you will mess up. Which you did.
"Me? Cute?" Xiao pointed at himself and then smirked mischievously. Hell! You didn't know he had this side of him. "Well now? Isn't that adorable coming from you? Look at me when I'm talking to you." You turn your head towards him and made eye contact with him still flushed with red cheeks out of embarrassment. Xiao retreated from his so called flirty side and cupped your cheeks, "y/n you are worth more than gold. You don't deserve that coward. You deserve so much better, you are beautiful love, inside and out." Xiao blushed his cheeks going red when he called you "love" but it wasn't the only move he took he moved closer and closer lips almost touching but stopped for a minute waiting for you to move away.
But instead you move forward connecting your lips and his lips. (Apocalypse..)
Xiao, quite surprised but kissed back gently. You haven't felt this living feeling ever since your "husband" started working late or hasn't had time for you. You drowned yourself into Xiao's warmth. Finally taking a break to breathe, you couldn't help but smile. "What took me so long to realize that I love you." You said slightly smiling out of sorrow. "No need to explain. As long you are by my side I will always stay happy when you are around." Xiao said burying his face towards your neck not even letting you see his flustered state.
You once again smiled and brushed his hair with your fingers, "I love you Xiao. I'm sorry I didn't notice you till afterwards.." you whispered.
Xiao place a kiss near your lips and said,
"it doesn't matter anymore because right now you are here with me, you were always worthy to be loved y/n."
