Part 4 Chapter 2 - Awards

"You came out, looked stunning gorgeous and then...Choked on that first turn. Fell backwards out of it. You watched her from the wings blow her turn and played it safe." As soon as we got in the dressing room we got Miss.Abby giving Chloe and Kendall a talk about their solo.

Wouldn't say Chloe played it safe though.

Kendall also did pretty good in her solo after she fell from her turn.

"Wait guys...just listen" Christi crossed her arms and smiled.

I looked at Maddie confused and she looked at me back.

"Kenz, is it tight? Because that's how its supposed to be." I tightened Mackenzie's ponytail so we could do the hairstyle.

She nodded.

"Alright this is it! I don't want another third place"

I grabbed my jacket and waited for the other girls to be done.

"So go out there and impress those judges. Let's go" Abby finished her talk.

"Just another number" He judge called out.

"Guys get in a line" I whispered.

We walked in seconds after and got into our positions.

Maddie came out and started the dance.

I made sure I was doing my dance right with technique.

Not forgetting to show many emotions trough it.

The dance came to an end as we did our final pose.

We walked to the backstage and started hugging each other.

"Guys it was good! We all did amazing" Nia told us as we nodded.

I got my water and drank out of it

Time for awards!!!

Alright, awards give me such a heart attack.

"Alright! Moving on. 9 to 11 solo category"

I held Chloe and Kendall's hand.

"In 5th place, entry number 12 with Kendall demand applause"

I frowned at Kendall as she got her award.

I thought she would get in 3rd or 4th place.

" 4th place goes to entry number 13. Lucas"

Right, his dance?

Didn't really pay attention to it.

"3rd place entry number 9!" I clapped and held Chloe's hand again.

"Now... Regional champion. Chloe"

I clapped and smiled at Chlo and she got her award.

2nd place is good for her solo.

I wish Abby gave the girls good cheorgophay.

I kind of have to agree with he moms when it come to Abby giving bad cheorghapy to the others.

"Third place! Entry number 34 Titanium!" I clapped to the other small group.

I got nervous.

"Your 2nd place will be...number 36, I believe" I clapped for the Candy apples group.

They were good not gonna lie.

I looked at my lap when it came to the first place.

I can't.

I'm getting so damn nervous right now.

"And our first place, 9 to 11 overall small group is... Just another number!"

I was in total shock when I heard that we got first place.

We got up and got the award.

I started smiling so widely that my jaw was starting to hurt.

"YAYYYY" the moms started shouting after we got back in the dressing room.

"Right, you guys got number 1 you beat the candy apples you were the best. But let's face it. This is your second  competition this season. And I'm having open call auditions, people will be dying for your spots on the team." Abby had to do that right after our win. Couldn't she do it when we came back the next week?

I would say it's not fair and it's not.
We auditioned to be on this team the very first season. And we keep proving ourselves.
So I don't get why Abby would want new dancers.

"Now kendall, this week was a disappointment and I think your disappointed in yourself."

"Chloe you were supposed to go first. But you were second. And I don't know what happen but you played it safe and that worked out"

" so when Maddie or Melanie have a job your my number 3 girl to go"

" now payton. I have given you many chances to be in this team. But your mother's behaviour today was not it an-" Abby got cut off from Lesley.

At this point this was a schedule.

We come back from our win then we have drama go on.

I didn't even bother to listen and started taking off my makeup in the chair.

They stared shouting at each other.

I wiped off my face make up and applied my skin care that I usually use after competitions.

Alright. Another week gone.

I hate school I don't wanna go.
