Part 2 Chapter 2 - Just another number

You guys really hate me right now for keeping you waiting for such a long time! I Am so sorry and to apologise here is a long chapter.

"I told all of you girls over the summer that this is not going to be another year of Melanie working her butt off and you all sitting around"Abby exclaimed.

That was not necessary

"Chloe..and kendall.You guys have solos this week. I need to know who my number 3 girl is."

"We all know who my number 1 and 2 girl is"

And that wasn't necessary as well Abby

But you know..just smile for the show cos it's a reality show.

"Chloe,kendall" Abby started.

They all nodded to her.

"It will be the battle of the rock stars!"

I looked at Chloe mounth wide.

"Chloe your routine is inspired by Katy Perry! And Kendall, you're gonna be an extreme like lady gaga" She explained their roles.

We all started to clap.

"Everyone will be in the routine! The group number is called...Just another number. Each one of you are just another number. EASILY replaceable" Abby pointed out.

Me and the girls are easily replaceable or just another number. We both have our styles of dance. Just makes us unique if you ask me - melanie.

"5,6,7 go" Miss abby counted.

We started our routine as the music played.

I looked at myself in the mirror looking if I did any mistakes.

"Payton, when you launch to the ground your foot is like dadada" she made sounds with her voice.

I marked the whole dance by myself correcting each move that I did wrong or looked bad.

"If you girls did what Melanie and Maddie do we you girls won't be just another number. If you practiced your butts off. You wouldn't be just a number" She suddenly spoke.

I felt annoyed because nothing that came out of her mouth was positive about the other girls

After that we practised again.

I saw the moms talking but hopefully it wasn't any drama.

"Okayy. What do you guys think about the group routine?" I got off my phone.

"Um. I think it's unfair that we get called just another number. Like yes I'm not like you or Maddie but I'm still Nia you know. Paige is still Paige,Mackenzie is still Kenzie,Chloe is still Chloe and Brooke is still brooke" Nia explained.

I totally get what she meant. Why would you like someone to constantly say negative things about you 24/7.

"Chloe and Kendall it's time for you solo practice" Gianna came into the room.

"Okay" they both said in unison.

"Right Chlo. If she says anything negative about you don't mind that. Use that to dance better k?" I hugged her after my speech.

She smiled and hugged me back before getting up and going into the room.

"Wanna go upstairs?" I asked the girls remaining.

"Sure I don't mind" Paige and Maddie say.

The others denied.

We headed upstairs.

"Hi mom" me ans Maddie said after one another.

"Hi girls. Did you have fun?" My mom replied.

"30% of the time yeah" I replied back to her.

"Wasn't really nice when Abby was saying rude things about the other girls." Maddie commented.

"How do you feel about not having a solo this week Melanie?" Jill asked.

I was a bit taken back but didn't show it since I wanted to be respectful.

"I don't feel anything negative. I alredy had solos and I'm happy for Chloe and Kendall"

She just nodded and looked back to the big screen.

Me,maddie and paige ended up playing Roblox and having fun with each other.

I'm finally back!!!

I actually feel good about writing this because I know my writing has improved.

I also wanted to explain the "parts" thingy.

So everytime I start a new episode I put 'part 1', 'part 2' or 'part 3' based on where I left off.

It's normally 'part 1'  being pyramid,solos or groups announcements and dance practices.

'Part 2' being the part between other practices,drama and in the dressing room.

And finally 'part 3' being the dance competition and the scores.

I hoped I explained that well!
