You stared blankly at the ground as you started to think. Will Lady Guizhong like this? You asked yourself. If she doesn't like it then you worked so hard for nothing. You did all of this just so you can please Lady Guizhong. But knowing Lady Guizhong, the kindest god you know, she would gladly accept this glaze lilies you just planted.
You smiled to reassure yourself, hoping that Lady Guizhong would love this and would give you blessings.
You were a follower of Guizhong, the god of dust. She may not be as strong as Rex Lapis but she was indeed a kind god.
"[y/n]!" You turned around to see who cooed your name. It was your sister. "We should get going now. Are you done with your little plantation?"
You stood up and fixed your dress. It was full of dirt because you were planting some glaze lilies to give Lady Guizhong. "Yes, I'm done. Hoping this glaze lilies grow into pretty flowers so that Lady Guizhong would like them." You said as you walk near to your sister.
"Once they grow, you will have to sing for them in order to bloom." You walk the same time as her.
You and your sister was going to Guili plains to pray to the god you follow, Lady Guizhong. You live near Guili plains so you and your sister had to walk there.
You prayed to the god you followed. You were asking some of her blessing to help your family. You never knew who your parents was or where they are now. You grew up with your sister alone and sometimes asks her. She always responds that they are in a better place. But You know that they are not in this world anymore.
You looked around to see people praying too. They say all their problems and some of them were thanking Lady Guizhong.
"What's wrong? Is something bothering you?" you looked up to your sister. You shake your head and went back to praying.
"Have you ever wander where Lady Guizhong lives?"
Your question made her think. "I heard that she often seen having tea party of sort around Mt. Aocang."
"A tea party? Do I also have to bring tea leaves when I offer the Glaze lilies?" You asked as you receive a brow from your sister.
"Why do you have to do that? Do you want to see Lady Guizhong?" You nodded as a respond but she let out a laugh. "You can't do that. We are not allowed to disturb them unless they want to see us. Plus I heard she always drink tea and wine with Rex Lapis."
You stopped as you started to think. Rex Lapis . . . The great mighty god who ruled Liyue. You never saw him but you heard people talking about him. He was a big dragon they say. But who knows what his real form is since you never saw him or you saw Lady Guizhong yourself.
You know that Lady Guizhong is a great god with a kind heart. Some people were crying, thank her for her kindness and giving them her blessings.
You stood up, tidying your clothes.
"Come on, we should head home. It's getting late." Your sister said.
The sun was going down and the golden scenery was breathtaking. The wind going trough the field of glaze lilies. You have this feeling inside you that you want to stay here until the sun sets but a lot of evil monsters such as hilichurl been lurking in this area so its best to go home.
"I forgot." You looked at your sister as you arrived home. "I've collected some bamboo shoots for Granny Rouxin and I think I left it outside. Can you get it from me?"
You went outside where your sister said the bamboo shoots were. She placed it near your glaze lilies plantation that you were gonna give to Lady Guizhong.
There you saw a basket full of bamboo shoots. As you went near it to grab it, you heard something. A sound of someone falling?
You went near to the sound to see who it was. You stopped your tracks when you saw who it was. It was a dragon-like creature. And from the looks of it, it was injured.
You were hesitant at first because what if this thing started biting you., but it didn't react at all when it saw you. Well, its not an animal, maybe it's an adeptus. Just like those stories you always hear from Granny Rouxin's stories.
You have never seen an adeptus but you here them in stories. They say they are like protectors of Liyue and they are followers of Rex Lapis.
You went close to this unique creature. You grabbed it and it didn't react with your action like it knows what you were already doing.
It was long with a brown and gold palette. It was injured in its arm. It was just a minor injury but you can still see a faint blood in it. "Don't worry, I will help you." You said to the dragon-like creature.
You went immediately to your room to perform aid to the creature in your arms.
"You should rest. You must be tired, right?" You said to it after aiding it.
Now . . . where should you put this creature. You can't put it back to the outside, it's already night and it's dangerous to go out. This should stay with you for now.
You held it and put the creature to your bed. "Take your rest there for now."
The creature didn't react at all. You stared at it. This creature really is really mesmerizing. It reminded you the sunset you saw earlier.
"Should I make you mine?"
"[y/n]!" you heard your sister's call. "Come here. It's dinner."
You immediately went to opened your door and saw your sister with her fist up. It looks like she was about to knock to your door but you opened it.
"Come on. Let's eat." You nodded to her and went outside of your room.
Before closing the door, you took a glance to the creature lying down to your bed.
"Rest well."
