'Damn it!'

Maggie slammed her fist on the table. 'You're okay?' She turned. 'Yes, I am fine.' She waved her hand. 'It doesn't look like you're fine. Want to talk about it?' Ironhide asked. 'No, it's fine. Don't worry about it.' She picked up the riffle and placed it back in the closet. 'You're sure?' He asked as she slammed the closet closed. 'I can't stand him...' she scolded. 'Who?'
'Robert Brown. He's 'chief' or the board back in Boston. We had an disagreement before I left and now things are getting out of hand. I am still head of the foundation, which makes things ten times worse. I thought that if I left he could handle it, but instead he keeps bothering me about money. The numbers are decreasing and I don't get where it went. You don't lost just 10 million dollars, right?' Ironhide shrugged. 'No, you don't. You're sure he's not committing fraud?'

'It's hard to believe. My grandfather could've chosen many people but he specifically asked for Robert. After all those years, I still don't get why. He's a jerk, pain in the ass and rude. He's good with numbers, that's why I thought he could handle it, but I guess not.' Ironhide wrapped his arm around her. 'Relax, otherwise I am gonna beat you at the shooting range.' Maggie snorted. 'In your dreams, old timer.'

'Old timer? I am not that old.'
She gave him a look. 'I am 25 and you're what? Thousands of years old?' I mocked. 'Sweet you think we're still talking about thousands. I am way older than that. I am older than Optimus Prime.' Maggie raised a brow. 'Really? Then why aren't you a prime?' He laughed. 'That's not how it works and I don't want to be a Prime, even if I could. I am busy enough as it is.' She hummed.

'I see you in about 15 minutes. Don't be late or I will make you run 30 laps around the base,' he warned before leaving. Maggie shook her head, leaning on the table for a few minutes. Robert returned to her memory. It wasn't a problem she could solve right now, but she had to look into it as soon as she got home later today.

She picked up her military jacket and left the storage room to catch up with team. 'Maggs?' She swiftly turned. 'Sarah invited you for dinner tonight, 7 PM,' Lennox said, smiling. 'Sounds good. I'll be there.' He gave a nod and walked off. Maggie looked forward to have the dinner. The last few days she was stuck back home, unpacking her stuff but this provided some distraction from work, Boston and her home that still wasn't the way she liked it.

The training session went smoothly. 'You did good, but I'm still beter.' She nudged me. 'Oh please... we are talking about one target.' A smile crept up on his face. 'Ey, I heard you were going to Lennox's place tonight.' Maggie nodded. 'That's correct. Sarah invited me over.' There was a silence that caught her attention. 'What?'

'Nothing... I can pick you up.'

'That's ridiculous. You take Lennox home at six. I don't want you to drive extra miles for me. I got a car, you know. I'll be fine.' Ironhide ran his hand through his pitch black hair. 'Alright, fine. It was just a suggestion.' I nudged him again. 'See you tonight.' He hummed. 'Are you sure I don't have to pick you up? It's really not that much of a big deal for me.'
'I'm fine, but thanks anyway. See you tonight.'

Maggie walked off and smiled wryly. Although he had been messing with her since the beginning, she could appreciate his sense of humor and honesty. He was strict and hard, but she also saw that sweet loving side he didn't show very often. She started to doubt her decision of turning down the offer. She thought about it for a few seconds. Maybe he just wanted to do something nice. She brushed it off and continued her shift.

'Ms.Forester?'

She halted and swiftly turned around. A man around his early thirties walked up to her. 'I am sorry to bother. I just wanted to introduce myself. I am major Thomas Reynolds, I am from the base in Kentucky. I flew over two days ago, but haven't had the change to meet the descendant of the great Forester.' He shook her hand quite firmly. 'Ah, nice to meet you too.' She forced a smile on her face. 'Anyway, I was hoping we could grab a bite in town before I fly back next weekend.'

'Yeah, I'm sure we can grab a bite. What about tomorrow?'
'That sounds great. You've no idea how honored I feel to meet you. Your grandfather was one of the greatest and his legacy will always be remembered. I'm sorry for your loss.' She smiled wryly. 'Thank you.' For the first time of her life, she wasn't sure what to say. 'I'm sure you are busy, so, I won't keep you up any longer, but I catch up with you tomorrow. You don't have to give me your number, I already have it.' He smiled before walking off. Maggie watched him disappear. It felt like a tornado just raced by. It all happened so quickly. It wasn't the first time someone approached her, but she never said yes to having dinner with someone she just met thirty seconds.

She sucked in a breath. She heard a chuckling and turned. 'I see you met Reynolds?' She nodded. Jazz wrapped his arm around her shoulders. 'I know he can be a little... weird and awkward, but he's cool, you know. I'm still teaching him how to deal with the real stuff.' A frown spread over her face. 'The real stuff?'
'Ya know... girls.' He made a motion with his hand. 'Right. This might be my fault though. I told him about you and he really wanted to meet you so I told him to go for it. He can be a little annoying but it's just a shell.'

'Are you trying to hook me on?'

Jazz laughed. 'Lil'lady... I can assure you, that I'm not a matchmaker. Just doing a friend in favor and besides, he flies back to Kentucky this Saturday. Grabbing a bite with you will shut him up and spare him a lot of awkward situations.' Maggie shook her head while Jazz stepped aside. 'I gotta be honest with ya... he's an awkward person and will make one jokes, so try not to get offended, but I promise, I'll whisper some good and dirty jokes in his ear.'

'Oh please... leave the dirty jokes. One mech is already enough,' she laughed. 'Ironhide? Didn't know he's the dirty joke kinda mech. Ya just gave me something to tease him with.' Maggie rapidly shook her head. 'Please don't. You've done enough.' She poked his ribs. 'Ey, man...' he rubbed the spot. 'I'm not a man. Just go!' She chuckled and waved him off. 'Now I will definitely give him dirty jokes. A lot of them.' He smirked before walking off.
