The next day
It was Monday the worst day of the week it became even worse when you had to sit next to Bruce in third period. "Hey.." you say trying to not make this awkward for the both of you. "Hey." Bruce says exhaling, both of you stayed quiet until the last minute of class. "Hey Y/n I want to ask you a question-" Bruce says getting cut off by the bell. You stood beside of Bruce making a confused face as Bruce just sighed and spoke "I'll tell you after school, when I walk with you to your house." Bruce says smiling as if he was excited and walked away.

You walked out of school and instantly saw Bruce waiting for you at the gate. You speed walked to Bruce and starting walking to your house."Hey so what'd you want to ask me earlier Bruce?" You ask "Oh uhm..I just wanted to know if you would like tooo.." Bruce says extending the word 'to' while you give him a confused face "To stop by tomorrow." You knew Bruce was gonna say something else he just chickened out last second. "Sure." you say smiling. You both kept an awkward silence trying to avoid eye contact. Meanwhile that happened you couldn't help but think about what he was gonna ask you before he backed out. You arrived at your house and as you were walking to your porch Bruce stopped you by grabbing your wrist. "Y/n." Bruce said in a serious voice making you turn to him shocked but mostly confused. "What's wrong Bruce?" You asked. "Y/n I've liked you ever since i've moved here. You've made me feel welcome ever since... So I have to ask.. Will you be my girlfriend?" Bruce said as he looked down still holding your wrist.
It was silent until you spoke up "Bruce.." You mumble "I-I get it you don't feel the same way-" Bruce says as he loosens his grip on your wrist and getting cut off by you "Bruce I feel the same exact way!" you yelled out while you see a smile start on his face. You intertwined your hand with his "Does this mean your my girlfriend?..." Bruce says "Obviously!" you spoke smiling and running into your house still holding his hand to tell your mother who always wanted you to be together.
