Enya stared up at the man she loved. His golden hair flowing in the wind, his skin matching his golden hair, glowing against the light. His eyes as green as grass. Perfect silver armour shining in the light. His hands were gentle but strong. Whenever he touched her cheek, it felt like small fireworks sparked against her skin. But this time it was not the case.
Enya stared up at the man she loved. Her eyes filled with fear. Her hand tightly holding onto his arm. The wind was fierce and the fall below her made her heart sink. Screams around them caused her to tremble.
"Please, Silas." Enya begged, her eyes filled with tears. Holding on for dear life over the side of the castle, all she could think about was not being let go.
"What are you doing, Silas?" A man with Raven hair and deep brown eyes stared at the two.
"Pull her back over the railing." The male said.
"It's either save her or save the others." Silas replied.
"No one has made that option." The male stepped closer. "Just simply give me what I want and no one shall be harmed." He spoke calmly.
"Please, Silas... Pull me up..." Enya whimpered as she began to slip from his grip.
"I'll never give it to you." Silas turned to the raven haired man. His grip released Enya as his sword drew.
"No!" The male yelled as he ran to the railing. His wings opened before he dove after the girl.
Enya just stared up as she began to fall. Her eyes slowly closed as the rest of the world moved past her. It felt quick but slow. Her heart was pounding and the ground was growing closer and closer. She wasn't ready to die. A small sob came from her as she felt betrayed by the one she loved.
"Enya!" The raven haired man yelled out before everything went dark for her.Silas watched the raven haired male dive after Enya.
"Goodbye, Enya." He whispered before stepping away from the railing. Silas took the time the raven haired man was distracted as a chance to free the prisoners. He scoured the castle and found the prisoners. They all cheered at being rescued.
"Silas our saviour!" They all cheered. A knight in shining armour had rescued the prisoners, elves, dwarfs, and many more had been imprisoned.
Silas helped the freed prisoners escape the castle. As he went to look for the body of Enya, the freed people called out for him. Silas climbed onto his horse and made his way to the front of the group leading the freed prisoners to their safe haven. The raven haired male who dove after the falling lady had grabbed her just before she had hit the ground but the momentum still caused them to crash into the ground. The male kept a grip around her to cushion her landing.
"Enya!" He yelled before moving her dark brown hair out of her face. When he did not get a response, he placed his ear against her chest and heard a soft breath. The male sighed in relief before picking the unconscious girl up. He saw a bit of red trickle down the side of her head. It caused his throat to tighten before opening his wings and flew away with her in his grasp.
He arrived to a dark castle on the edge of a beach, carrying the lady in his arms down to the dungeons. He placed her on the ground gently and kept her hair out of her face.
"I never thought you would get hurt... I thought he'd give me what I'd ask for, not risk your life.." he whispered as a few tears ran down his cheek. He kissed Enya's forehead before shutting the dungeon door and walked away. The ground was cold. A groan escaped Enyas' lips. Her hand made its way to her head where she felt pain. It felt wet. She looked at her hand, now covered in blood.
"H-." Enya went to speak but no sound came out. She looked around and was surrounded by stone walls and a metal dungeon door. Her clothes were still her own, muddy, scratched up. Her hand reached her throat as she tried to stand. The change in gravitational pressure caused her head to throb before allowing herself to use a wall to rest. Enya had no idea how long she had been out for. Small footsteps were heard heading down the corridor.
"M'lady?" A soft voice spoke. "I have brought you food." A small girl walked into the light holding a tray of food.
"Where am I?.." Enya whispered moving closer to the door slowly.
"Keir's palace." The girl said opening the dungeon door and stepped inside. "I have bandages and fresh clothes for you as well M'lady."
"Thank you." Enya smiled and closed her eyes for a moment.
"I will come by later and bring back blankets." The girl placed the tray next to Enya and grabbed the bandages. She grabbed a damp cloth and started to clean up the blood around her head. She was as gentle as she could. Enya flinched when her wound was touched.
"Sorry, m'lady." The girl whispered as she started to wrap up her head.
"It's alright." Enya put on a smile. "Why did Keir leave me in a dungeon?"
"I'm not quite sure, m'lady." The girl stood up and brushed herself off. "Enjoy your dinner."
The girl walked out of the dungeon and shut the door. Enya stared down at her food and slowly started to eat. Her stomach rumbled while she ate and devoured it within seconds.
"How's your head?" A male voice spoke.Silas watched the freed folk dance around the cave they chose to camp at, singing and dancing loudly.
"Silas, come join us." An elven lady offered her hand with a bright smile.
"No, I think I am alright." The knight smiled politely and turned away.
"It's a celebration. Our saviour must join us. The saviour of the Fae." The elven lady sat on his lap.
"Celia. You have always been so stubborn." He whispered. A cheeky smile appeared on Celia's face. Her white hair and crystal blue eyes shone from the fire light.
"Oh come on, Silas. She's gone now." Celia tucked hair behind Silas's ear and ran her fingertips along the knights pointy ears. Silas grabbed her wrists before standing up.
"You were never a girl to let a man grieve." He smirked and caressed Celia's cheek before licking lips with her.
