                            -November '78-
It's been a year since Vance went missing, I've been looking nonstop to find clues for where he is, ms. ebbecke has helped me with it by driving ng me around in her brother's van, she's probably one of the only people I can reply on right now.

*KNOCK KNOCK*
I walk to the door, to see Finney in his baseball uniform and Gwen right beside him. "Hey y/n, you ready to go?" Finney asks happily, "yea I'm ready to let's go" I answer back closing the house door behind me.

                                -at the game-

I sit there on the bleachers slumped. As much as I love Finney and Bruce I can't sit still for this long. I look up to see Finneys team walking out to the field and notice him go to the pitcher's mound. he's really good at pitching. I watch Bruce go up to bat, I look at Gwen and smile, "this is gonna be good" she looks up "oh totally".
Bruce looking confident, smiles at Finn.

Finney throwing Bruce swings.

STRIKE

Bruce looks down as Finney goes to reset his throw, Bruce gets back into position to swing, and Finney throws a fastball.

STRIKE

Bruce looking stressed, he walks to maybe loosen up, Finney catches the ball from his teammate and goes to throw, Bruce swings and-

*CRACK*

"Holy shit he hit it!" I say to Gwenny, "ha I didn't expect that" she says crossing her arms.
Bruce runs all the bases as he smirks at Finney.
Finney looked defeated as he walked back to the dugout. The game had finally ended.
As finney and Bruce's teams walk out to say good game, Gwen and I run to the chain link fence by one of the dugouts to wait for them to come out.

After everyone leaves, I smirk saying "Hey guys good game you did good, but I think I could do better" putting my hands on my hips. "Yea? Ok let's try, finney be the catcher" Bruce says. Finney rolls his eyes at our stupidity but agrees and goes behind Bruce who's going to hit.

I grab a ball and go to the pitching mound, I smile at Gwen who's behind the fence, and the boys who are at home base. I throw the ball and watch him swing. Holy shit, another home run. I run up to both of them. "Holy crap! Your arm is mint y/n but not as good as me and finney" he says grabbing his bag. "Ha thanks Bruce, that was fun, we'll see you at school then, it's getting dark" I reply walking out of the fenced in area with the both of them.

Your arm is mint.
