You're back | Bronya x Seele

Chapter 3

...Everything went black.

Only God knows what will happen to me and Seele next...

Bronya POV:

I felt my body burn up as the honkai liquid level was rising around my body in that capsule. I couldn't feel my limbs anymore and I couldn't see or hear anything from the outer world.

I woke up on the ground of an unfamiliar place. I took a look at my surroundings and it appeared I was in a strange garden. This place was different than the one me and Seele met in quantum state. I got up and felt strange. I could walk freely without the help of my external skeleton. 

I looked at myself and noticed my experiment suit was replaced with my uniform at the Cocolia orphanage. Thankfully my invention was in the pocket of my top. I decided to walk around in this mysterious garden. 

I have no idea how much time passed I think it was about 30 minutes. Got lost in the garden so I decided to sit on a bench and rest. Then a thought passed through my mind - Bronya will waste her time if she sits and rests. The Bronya is on a mission right now.

I got up and started exploring again. The said garden is far more different than the real world. While I was walking down a random path I kept thinking about Seele. Where the hell was she? I had a feeling that she may not be here and I'm just wasting time. I didn't realise that the path I was walking on led me to a fountain, a really big one to be honest. I was mesmerised from the view until I heard a familiar voice.

Seele POV:

I was arguing with my dual ego basically about everything.

"Why won't you listen? You already regret the decision you made to enter this test!"

"Why would I listen to you? I don't even regret it, because Bronya is safe."

"But now that your beloved Bronya broke the promise, you should think more about yourself! You sacrificed yourself so that silver haired friend of yours can skip the test. And she won't even return the favour!"

"I know Bronya better than you! We grew up together and every single promise she made was kept. I won't stop believing she will come back for me"

"Yeah right say whatev-" Veliona paused for a second and then yanked me with her behind a tree. "Someone is coming" she whispered.

Bronya POV:

As I heard the voice I tried to follow it but at the other side of the fountain I didn't find anything except my shadow. I looked around. I was sure I heard Seele. As I tried to walk even further I felt pain in my lower legs. When I looked at them I spotted red like marks. I did everything possible to walk a little more and then collapsed. My only hope now was to scream so I did

"SEELE! WHERE ARE YOU?"

Almost immediately my eyes spotted a dark blue haired girl, her hair matching her azure eyes. She ran towards me with teary eyes.

"Are you ok?" She asked concerned 

 I almost thought I was dreaming. I tried to get up but failed so I took out the magnet from my pocket and gave it to her

"Hold onto this. Bronya came to get you out of here."

As I said that her tears went down on her cheeks.

"I knew you would" 

"This is a honkai stable destroyer device that the Bronya created. If you keep holding it for a minute it will activate and destroy the honkai energy they injected into you" as I said that my legs hurt even more. "Seele listen carefully, you will soon disappear from the quantum and go back in the real world. The Bronya will follow soon enough."

Her hand and her legs already started disappearing as she looked at me with a very worried face. She disappeared completely in seconds. I felt my body burning again...

I woke up in the capsule. Soon I remembered that I had instructed the project bunny to get me back once Seele has arrived. As I started coming back to my senses I felt the glass capsule break. I fell on top of Seele as I just realised I was hugging her the whole time. I noticed she was completely naked right after. I was pinning her down on the floor and when I realised it I pulled away immediately. I felt my cheeks going red as I saw Seele being like this. Her face was as red as a tomato and she quickly covered herself with her hands. I got up and took my backpack. Opened it and took the extra pair of clothing out. I handed it to the blue eyed girl so she could dress herself.

"Thanks... B- Bronya neechan"

"No problem.. and sorry"

"It's okay"

Seele POV:

I felt weird being undressed in front of my crush, but I wasn't exactly embarrassed. Now that I'm with Bronya I feel a lot safer. Nothing is going to keep us apart from now on - I thought. 

After we both put on our cloths, my stomach grumbled. I blushed again

"Are you hungry, Seele?" Bronya oneechan asked.

"N-no"

My stomach grumbled again.

"Bronya thinks Seele is lying" she said as she unpacked a sandwich and handed it to me "here you go. The Bronya made this for you, Seele"

"Thank you oneechan"

"Ugh why are you getting all blushy just because of a sandwich?" I heard my dual ego in my head. "Shut the fuck up" I thought as I took a bite.

"What about you, Bronya oneechan? Are you going to eat something?" I looked at Bronya who was getting a bottle of water from her backpack.

"The Bronya doesn't feel hungry right now. Bronya is happy that Seele is eating and is ok." She answered as she drank the water.

Soon I felt Bronya hug me from behind, giving me a feeling of strength and security. I was so happy to see her again.
