You're back | Bronya x Seele

Chapter 4

Bronya POV: 

We were sitting on the floor next to each other. After Seele finished her sandwich, we got up.

"What are going to do now, Bronya oneechan?" She asked me with a cute smile.

"Bronya suggests that we go shopping so we can celebrate your come back. Also the Bronya wants to ask if Seele would like to transfer to st. Freya high." I said. I took my time to explain what st. Freya is after I spotted a confused look on her face. She then lit up. She agreed and hugged me. She was so happy that we were going to live together from now on. She is so cute. I then looked at my HOMU watch.

"11:30 pm. It's too late to go outside. Seele, would you like to stay here for the night and go shopping tomorrow?"

"What if someone catches us?" Seele said worried.

"Don't worry, Seele. The Bronya has suspected that nobody has come down here since the X10 experiment has ended" I said

"O-ok then" she said seemingly less worried. We decided to sleep on the other side of the lab. I put a blanket I found earlier on the floor and sat down. Seele sat down next to me. She was tired and confused because of all that was going so I hugged her to comfort her. We then lay down on the improvised bed. 

About 20 minutes passed but neither of us was asleep.

"Seele, are you ok?" I asked since I noticed something was bothering her.

"I'm fine" she answered.

"Is it ok if we cuddle?" I asked and then blushed because I realised what I just said. But Seele was even redder than me as I could see under the faint light of the machine screens. I decided to hug her again. I felt sleepy and before I knew it we were both sleeping peacefully in each others arms.

Seele POV:

Timeskip to the next morning.

I woke up. I didn't know that time it was. I yawned once, twice, thrice. I then tried to get up only to notice a hand on my tummy pulling me back down. This hand was Bronya's. I instantly blushed like a tomato and I could only hope Bronya didn't notice.

"Bronya doesn't want to let Seele go. The Bronya will stay by Seele's side from now on" she said sleepily. She then opened her eyes and looked at her watch. 8:19 am.

"Good morning, Seele."

"Good morning" I replied 

We got up and washed our faces in the changing room's bathroom. We then gathered our things in one place and left. 

We got out of the labs and I felt the morning sun hit my skin. It felt good. Bronya took my hand silently as we were walking down the beach. I was blushing again so I looked at the sea. It was so pretty, just as Bronya oneechan had described it. One day me and her will come back to this beach as she had promised.

After a 45 minute walk we found ourselves in a town

"What would you like to shop for?" I asked Bronya

"Anything Seele wants" she answered

"I don't want anything in particular... and I don't want to trouble you." I said

"It's ok. When it comes to Seele Bronya will never be troubled."

"Ok" there was an awkward silence between us for a moment but then Bronya spoke again

"Do you remember the promise we made back at the orphanage? The Bronya promised to take you to the beach so why don't we go shopping for swimsuits?" She suggested. I smiled and agreed. We headed to the mall.

We arrived and we went straight to the summer shop. Bronya made me try on some swimsuits and told me to choose whatever I want. I ended up getting a white swimsuit with purple and blue print and Bronya got a gray one with white dots. She also got an inflatable HOMU donut that she liked. She payed.

"Thank you Bronya oneechan" I smiled

"No problem. Bronya likes to make Seele happy" I blushed for the thousandth time that day.

Stop blushing you are embarrassing me too. - I heard Veliona mumble in my head. I decided to ignore her and enjoy the mini date with Bronya... why did I just think that? Are me and Bronya a thing? Are we dating? Are we friends? I'm so confused.

"Are you ok, Seele?" Bronya interrupted my train of thoughts.

"Yes I'm fine, I was just thinking about something."

"Can Bronya help?" She asked

I'm literally thinking about you... I thought to myself but didn't dare to say a word.

My eye caught a HOMU plushie set for sale in another shop in the mall. It was cute but I didn't want to tell Bronya I wanted it since I don't want to trouble her too much. She went though so much stuff in order to get me out of the quantum. She got a leg trauma because of me. I didn't realise that I was staring at the plushie the whole time. Bronya noticed it and followed my glance. She then walked in the store without giving me a chance to stop her and returned in a minute with the plushie 

"Her name is Homei." Bronya explained as she came back. She handed me the plushie.

"Thanks but you didn't have to"

"The Bronya absolutely did have to"

A smiled and took the plushie. We then continued our walk. We spent the whole day outside. We ate lunch at a restaurant at the centre of the town. We had a great time. Soon the sky became darker and darker. We were headed to the local airport.

"The Bronya will take you to a sea near st. Freya high. Is that ok?" Bronya reminded me about the sea. I agreed of course.

We took the first flight.
