Please, go ahead. Namjoon spoke. "I-" the person in the navy suit uniform froze for a moment keeping his hand on his earpiece. "excuse me" he said before listening into the earpiece. suddenly he turned around towards the door standing in attention position the squad lined up stopping whtever they are doing. Moments later a figure emerged from the main door looking distressed in urgency and familiar. He barged inside looking around the room.
"SQUAD BETA REPORTING SIR" the navy uniformed men showed their loyality and respect.
He nodded mechanically searching around the room and his gaze finally found the one. Elllie in tae's arms. She is equally shocked as the members. "Mr. Alex" Jin acknowledged his presence behalf of the members. Alex went running towards Ellie engulfing her in a hug. "Bean, you alright, you're alright, youre-" he broke the hug but not leaving her. he did a full body scan with his eyes the bandages are wrapped around her injuries.
"Bean, listen to me. No one is mad at you" he looked into Ellie's eyes straight with relief. "did you hear what i said?" he asked wanting a reassurance. Ellie just nodded still not understanding what just happened.
After Alex recieving his answer he turned towards BT21. "Mr. Namjoon, BT21-" he glanced at everybody. " I apolgise for this terrifying event occurred due to our enemies schemes. this shouldn't happen, your team should have ever been dragged into this raging mess."
"but it happened already, they know now. that you are somehow linked to us." he turned particularly towards Namjoon and Jin " you are now targets of the mafia. It is not at all safe to stay here anymore. Since we are the cause of this mess-"
Alex paused for a moment gulping just air taking a moment before speaking.
"It is better and safe if BT21 come stay with us for a time being" the words struck everybody in the room like a rock. it is so sudden that members took few moments to process. they all looked up to Namjoon since he's the leader of BT21 and the spokesperson.
The immediate reaction was confusion and concern. RM and Jin demanded answers, coming forward with the question, "Stay where!! What kind of Threat? isn't this something we deal with everyday?"
The tense situation escalated with the arrival of shocking news: "Yes Mr.Namjoon, I know we are in this field-- but this is different, this has become our priority and responsbility we are informed to take BT21 with us until your safety is assured."
Ellie reacted with disbelief at the plan's scope, asking, "What do you mean Alex? Are you saying that- " she paused glancing at the members and back to alex "--Them to Brooklyn??"
"Yes Bean, this is your brothers orders"Ellie knows her brothers order is the ultimate.
"I don't think we will go by anybodys orders, we are independent operating team since the beginning. I think this is known fact in the field" Namjoon spoke professionally not letting the personals get in the way.
Alex took his steps towards Namjoon closer. everyoine could see there is something very big and unexplainable thing in betweeen them." I do know about this Mr. Namjoon, but you are connected with us more than professionally--" he then glanced towards Jhope.
" this goes way deeper Mr. Namjoon, this--- you know what happened right like how-- izzy-- jhope-- " Alex is struggling to find words and possible explanation that could get them to agree. "I know this is a big ask-- it's -- Please try to understand--"
" It Is, Mr. Alex, we need ans-"
"Hyung" The voice came from behind, a flat tone. everyone in the room turned towards the voice.
its Jhope. "hobaa--" Namjoon was confused. Jhope taking steps closer to Namjoon and Alex, midway he grabbed Ellie's Hand along with him.
" Namjoon Hyung, Jin hyung" he stood right in-front of them.
The seven men and Ellie were stunned, halting their thoughts, overwhelmed by the events of the last few hours. The deadlock was broken when J-Hope finally spoke, drawing everyone's attention with a heartfelt plea: "I never asked you guys anything but," helooked over Ellie and Alex before speaking again
" Can we go with them. For my sake hyung please." Namjoon along with the members were put into puzzled thoughts again.
"Hoba-- " Jin was cut mid sentence .
"I want to know Hyung" Jhope turned towards Ellie. she was shook to the core by the direct eye contact made with Jhope after that cardigan incident.
"I want to know the answers hyung. I deserve to know." The silence after his words spoke Volumes.
"Let's Pack" Jin is the first one to break this heavy silence indirectly telling everyone that theyre indeed going with Ellie to Brooklyn.
No one questioned Jin or say anything even Namjoon surrendered to Jin's words. he is the oldest of all.
Jhope's rare and emotional request instantly settled the matter. The members couldn't refuse one of their family members and understood that in a moment of total confusion, it was wisest to trust the one person who seemed to possess any shred of direction.
Ellie and Alex were left alone in the living room after everybody left to thier repective rooms to pack. Alex took a deep breathe almost collapsing to the floor but composed himself for the sake of Ellie.
"Hey Bean, look at me--" he grabbed Ellie's face gently lost in her own thoughts.
"We will get through this, now they will be safer and - " he pulled her into his embrace. "I feel like this is gonna be the final battle we're gonna fight"
