It was only yesterday that I went to the city, only yesterday night when I reached at the castle, today I'm going to meet esmeray, Cynthia, Katherine, Mateo and Damien, our group didn't have a name, "Your Majesty, tea?", Jaffron asked, I was in the dining room, discussing my plan with jaffron,

"Sure", I said taking the tea from Jaffron, "Jaffron, I want you to give me information about prince Damien, I want to know everything about him, his past, what his parents have decided for his future, if he's working for someone else too", I ordered while taking a sip from the tea, "I'm on it, my queen", he said with a low bow before leaving the room, I called a maid and told her to pack a few clothes, I have a place to visit.

I reached at a black Mahogany house, hidden away from other peoples view, deep in the woods, moonlight glistening against a lake nearby, the house I'd say was rather beautiful, the curtains were drawn, I noted, I took out a small key and twisted the door open, I stepped in taking in the sight, it had been awhile since I came here, this was Cynthia's safe house, I use it as secret headquarters, everyone who entered would think it's a normal house, which apparently hadn't been cleaned in weeks,

There were three doors, one led to a kitchen, the other led to a bathroom and another a bedroom, the hall was filled with bookshelves, an enormous TV, a white couch and a black wooden dining table, the colour scheme black and white, I locked the door behind me before shuffling toward a bookshelf beside the TV,

I ran my fingers through the books before stopping at a particular red and black book, it was heartless, one of the many books that had me crying in the end, I tilted the book forward till I heard the familiar creaking sound, the bookshelf separated from the middle, revealing a staircase, I stepped in and heard the bookshelf shifting to its original place, I lit a firetorch and held it in my hands as I descended down the stairs,

When I reached, I opened yet another door, I locked my eyes with Damien's, his hair messier than usual, his attire almost the same every time, black and white dress pants and a black shirt, he looked ho- I cleared my throat before shifting my gaze to Katherine, then Mateo and esmeray, then... Cynthia! "Oh I'm glad you could finally join us Cynthia", I said, "Your Majesty-", she started but I cut her off, "it's alright, you don't have to explain, we are wasting our time", I told her before continuing,

"So we have much to discuss tonight, tomorrow is a big day and we simply cannot afford any mistakes for it will cost some of us our lives, is that understood?", I raised my eyebrow, they all nodded in agreement, "glad we're on the same page, now here's the plan", I started.

I followed Damien to another door as he opened it, as we were climbing up the stairs, damien spoke, "Where was your father the night your mother was...-", I was slightly taken aback by the question but I was quick to mask my expression, "He- He was called outside by Jaffron a few minutes before it happened, the villager wanted to speak with him right away, now that I think about it, it seemed so that dad wasn't.... um-", he cut me off, "Oh",

We reached at the top, to yet another door but I noticed writing beside it something that wasn't there the last time I came here, I looked at it closely in the dim light from the fire torch, it read 'Damien', it seemed it was written hastily, it looked rushed and messy, "What is this Damien? Wh- why is your name written on the wall like that?", I asked, "Oh! It was Cynthia, um, she told me to not tell you but she... liked me you see, but I said I didn't feel the same way so uh..", he confessed awkwardly,

I had to do everything in my strength to not burst out laughing, "Cynthia? Liked You? Well that's surprising, with her past and all, I didn't think she'd like anyone after...", My words got caught in my throat, its funny how, it was only seconds before when I struggled to stop myself from laughing and now I struggled to stop my heart aching but that felt somehow wrong, I never felt anything close to Cynthia before, well to be honest to anyone,

Atleast from what I remember, there was a time, but when times change, so do people and I... I definitely changed, Damien held the door out for me, a gentleman? I smirked, "What?", he asked seeing my expression, "Nothing... Nothing", I replied camly, we walked through the backyard, our horses awaited and so did revenge.
