Rhys grew up with his father, stepmother and two stepbrothers. He was emotionally abused by his stepmother all during his childhood and physically by his two brothers. His father was in the military and at age of eleven he started training Rhys with the other soldiers with no regard to his age.
Rhysand is closed off, cold and uncaring. He usually reacts with anger or annoyance.
He has an obsessive personality and he's an extreme perfectionist. He's very hard on himself. Rhys is capable of violence for the sake of his job, but also for love, if he ever found it.
No one really knows what goes on in Rhysand's mind. He's content with that and would like to keep it that way.
