Stepping out of the building that the interview to support her next movie was held  y/n felt the crisp air fill her lungs as she took a big breath. She could feel her muscles relaxing after finally being done with the interview. After rising to fame suddenly and really fast she never had the time to adjust to her new reality. She'd swear she'll never get used to interviews and how unprofessional some interviewers can be, asking unnecessarily personal questions that always made her uncomfortable.

Fortunately  for her though out of this craziness she now called her life she met Katie. Katie was a model that she met during one party which none of them could recall who had hosted in the bathroom where they spent the rest of the night talking about their careers their dreams and hopes like they were lifelong friends . The two instantly clicked and   created an amazing friendship the past 3 years.

With the release of her movie y/n had to  attend a press tour which, thank God was finally over. Katie and her talked on the phone last night about her coming back and her last interview being today and she told her about her long term boyfriend Jamie. Apparently him and his band finished recording their new album which meant he'd be home more often. y/n always loved hearing about them they've been going out for years and were still going strong. She had the pleasure of going out with both of them a couple of times and the way Jamie looked at Katie like she hung up the stars never failed to make y/n smile.

She was abruptly pulled out of her thoughts of the couple by a loud honk of a car, making her flinch. The loud noise was followed by the familiar voices of the couple that was occuping her mind earlier. Turning around she was met with the beaming faces of her friend and her boyfriend. Her whole face brightened up as she made her way to their car.

After some brief greetings she made her way into the backseat of the car since Jamie was on the driver's seat and Katie was  riding shotgun.

"Well welcome back. And thank you for mentioning what time this would be over. We totally weren't waiting outside for about an hour like we're stalking your or sommat" Jamie said  as he looked at her though the rare view mirror.

"Could've just asked me you know?"

"It wouldn't be a surprise then" Katie chirped in.

" Well you did it I was very surprised"she responded cheekily.

" Oh thank God then all the stalking and waiting paid off " Jamie said earning a giggle from y/n and Katie.

They fell in easy conversation. It was so comforting being able to be with her friends again, talking and laughing and listening to music and Jamie's silly  jokes. It seemed like everything was  normal and y/n could practically feel the last bit of tension on her body melt away as the sun started to set coloring the sky in the most beautiful colors.

y/n watched Katie talk  about the new job she got with a small clothing brand as she started zoning out of the conversation.

"Umm this is not the way to my house, Jamie" she  said snapping out of it when she  realized they  missed the turn that would lead you to her home.

" Oh yeah about that..." Jamie trailed off glaring at Katie signaling that he needs help.

"We're kidnapping you" Katie said turning around to y/n who looked utterly confused while Katie was sporting a poker face.

" Ah, okay... Good to know that I guess" she said looking out of the window trying to recognize where they were going.

"Almost there" said Katie reapplying her lipstick.
