[3rd person POV]

"How much time will you take to get ready, Dev? After that, it's time to go."

"I'm coming, Pragya. Just a few more minutes," Dev said while hurriedly hiding something in the cabinet before Pragya entered the room.

Pragya entered the room and saw Dev still fixing his hair.

"You're still not ready? Even the kids are dressed up and waiting for you to take a family picture," I told him while helping him put on his jacket.

"The kids need to know that their dad is handsome, even if they see me after a few years or when they're grown up. They need to know where they got their good looks from," he said, winking at Pragya.

"Are you saying I don't have good looks?" she asked, sounding angry.

"Of course not, baby. You're gorgeous. You still have the same effect on me as when I first saw you. Even now, my heart still beats faster," he said, holding Pragya's hand against his heart.

"Thanks! Why do you need to put so much effort into looking good? You're already perfect, just like how God took time to create you," she said, kissing his cheek and then dragging him to take a picture, where Aaliyah and Aryaan were fooling around with balloons.

Dev took pictures of them before joining in the fun.

They all took pictures and went to Disneyland to spend time with the kids.

[Pragya's POV] (with her eyes closed)

I still don't know what I would do without this man in my life. Why must God be so cruel to take our love away from my kids and me? It's unbearable to see your loved one suffer, yet they still wear a smile to make you and the kids happy.

This man has given me everything, beautiful and understanding kids. Will I ever be able to repay him in my entire life?

She opened her eyes when she felt like someone was calling her.

[3rd person POV]

"Pragya, I told you to spend time with me while I'm here and not to think about anything. It's hard to accept that I won't be there for you as promised. Just think of it as me going somewhere for work. Please don't be sad when I'm with you. It's going to be hard for me to leave you all like this," Dev said sadly.

Pragya smiled sadly and hugged him. "I just hope this is a dream."

"It's okay. If you've completed your work on this earth, you must have to go somewhere to complete other tasks given to you by God," Aryaan said.

"Maybe dad has some other work assigned by God, so we have to let him go happily. Just promise that we'll meet again in another life like this, but with more time," Aaliyah said.

The words from the 6-year-old kids shook both Dev and Pragya.

They all reached Disneyland and made memories.

[Fast forward]

(Somewhere in London)

Purab was in a café, waiting for someone with Abhi beside him.

Someone dressed in all black with a mask entered and sat in front of them. They discussed something and shook hands before leaving. As they were returning home, Abhi received a text from that stranger.

Text: "I will complete your work in 5 days."

Abhi texted back, "Okay, send an email after completion."

[3rd person POV]

(PAST Pragya's memory)

P - Pragya

D - Dev

P - 4:00 am - "Hey idiot, did you complete your work?"

P - 4:30 am - "It's Karwachauth. I woke up early to keep a fast and will fall asleep after praying, so don't be mad at me if I don't answer your call."

P - 9:00 am - "I'm texting you because you said you'd be busy the whole day in a meeting and won't have time to call me."

"Don't forget to eat your breakfast."

"Love you, luv. It's been a day since you called; still waiting for your call."

D - "Hey, I just completed my work now" - 10:00 am

"My dear sunshine, I called you yesterday at 10 pm, remember?"

"We live in different time zones, darling, so you might have felt that way. It's only been 10 hours since the last time I called you."

P - "But we only spoke for 10 minutes yesterday 😒, so it felt like longer."

"It's time for praying. Bye."

"I'll call you to break my fast. Remember to pick up my call." - 10:05

D - "I saw a beautiful girl here. She looks so cute 😍" - 10:07

P - "A girl? A young girl or a woman?" - 10:08

D - "Let me send you her picture" - 10:08

P - "Wait, you even got her picture?" - 10:08

D - "Yeah, she looks pretty, so I took her picture secretly."

P - "Dev, I will kill you if I see you flirting with anyone."

D - "Really? Then come and kill me. I'm going to give her white roses."

He sends her a picture of a bouquet of white roses in his hand.

P - "DEV, those are my favorite flowers! 😡"

D - "Hahaha, let me send you her picture. She looks gorgeous. 😘"

He sends a picture of Pragya, which took a while to download as she was praying.

Then a boy comes to Pragya to give her a bouquet of white roses 💐, and she sees her own picture after downloading it.

D - "Sends another picture of her receiving the bouquet from a boy, with a smile on her face."

P - "Dev, where are you?"

D - "In your heart."

P - "Stop kidding. I'm serious."

D - "You look cute with that angry face. 😉"

He sends another picture of her, which he just took.

P - "DEV, it's not funny. Stop taking my pictures, you idiot. You might be on the second floor based on the picture you sent just now. I'm going to find you."

D - "Hahaha, then find me. I'll be waiting for you."

Pragya runs to the second floor to find Dev. First, she checks all the rooms on the first floor. While searching, she receives another picture from Dev of their room. She hurries to reach their room, which is on the first floor.

When she opened the room door, she found it dark and felt someone's hand pulling her back and hugging her. She knew it was Dev from his hand and scent.

"You're tired of running, darling." Dev leaned closer to kiss her, but she pushed him back to switch on the light. To her surprise, Dev was wearing the dress she had bought for him to wear that day.

"Do you like what you see, babe?" Dev said, winking at her 😏.
