Switch City (Nintendo Switch Sports fanfiction) [DISCONTINUED]

Episode 1: Introduction

In Switch City, a 15 year-old girl named Courtney was in her room, organizing her collection of sporty magazines. Her dad Greg knocked on the door.

(Greg [from other side]) "Courtney, are you ready? You're going to Spocco Square with Shaelyn."

(Courtney) "Oh yeah! I almost forgot!"

Courtney opened the door and walked out of her room.

(Courtney) "Bye, Dad!"

Courtney hugged Greg for a second and then met up with Shaelyn.

(Shaelyn) "Ah, there you are! Shall we get going?"

(Courtney) "Absolutely!"

Courtney and Shaelyn went to Spocco Square.

At a tennis court, they were on one side and a girl named Erica was on the other side.

(Erica) "So, you must be Courtney Armstrong."

(Courtney) "Yep! I sure am! And you're Erica, right? You are the mayor's niece, if I'm correct."

Erica looked at Shaelyn.

(Erica) "Ha, your mother is your tennis partner!?"

(Courtney) "My stepmother to be exact! She was a popular tennis player when she was my age!"

(Erica) "How lame! Do you not have any friends or something!?"

(Courtney) Well, uh..."

Courtney looked a little sad.

(Erica) "Hm, that's what I thought."

(Shaelyn) "Excuse me Erica-"

(Erica) "You may be one of the 'best', Courtney, but I can already tell you're actually a loser."

(Shaelyn) "Ignore her, Courtney, she's just being malicious."

Erica's brother Victor came over.

(Erica) "What took you so long!?"

(Victor) "Sorry not sorry, sis, I needed a drink!"

(Shaelyn [whispering]) "Want to skip this match?"

(Courtney) "No thanks. Let's show them what we got!"

The tennis match started!

Both teams were really good, and they kept getting deuces. At the end, Shaelyn hit the ball very hard; it went so fast that Erica and Victor couldn't hit it back.

(Erica) "NOO!!"

(Courtney) "YES! We won!"

Courtney gave Shaelyn a high-five.

(Courtney) "Hey, can we go to Café Buttons?"

(Shaelyn) "Why yes, that sounds most delightful."

Shaelyn and Courtney walked away.
