The next day, Courtney walked downstairs and met with her dad.
(Greg) "I have bad news, Courtney."
(Courtney) "Oh, what is it?"
(Greg) "People have to pay a monthly 200 dollar subscription, to practice at Spocco Square now."
(Courtney [in mind]) "Oh no!! It's already in effect!"
(Courtney) "Are you going to pay it?"
(Greg) "Of course I am. But, I'm worried about other people. Not everyone has a high paying job, you know."
(Courtney) "Oh, right... My friends..."
Courtney met with Shaelyn who was washing dishes.
(Courtney) "Hi, Mother, I'm gonna be hanging out with my friends. Is that alright?"
(Shaelyn) "Of course, Dear. Have fun!"
At Spocco Square, Courtney met up with Ace, Julia and Daisy.
(Courtney) "Are all of your parents going to pay the subscription?"
(Julia) "Mine are only paying for two months."
(Daisy) "Same for mine."
(Ace) "Same thing for me as well!"
(Julia) "How about you, Courtney?"
(Courtney) "Mine are paying for it. However, if you guys are not gonna be here anymore, I don't think I want them to... Unless..."
(Daisy) "Unless what?"
(Courtney) "My dad is very rich. Maybe he can pay the subscription for all of you! I'll ask him when I get back home!
(Julia) "Wow, that's so sweet of you!"
(Daisy) "Yeah! Thanks!"
(Ace) "But if he says no, we still appreciate the thought."
A boy met up with them.
(The boy) "Hey buds! It's been awhile!"
(Daisy) "Hey James!"
(Ace) "I assume you got my text message?"
(James) "Sure did, Dude!"
(Julia) "Here's our new friend, Courtney."
(Courtney) "Hi."
(James) "Ah, nice to meet you finally! I'm James Auger. Ace has told me all about you."
Ace blushed.
(Ace) "No! It was Daisy who told you!"
(James) "You sure, bro?"
(Ace) "Yes!"
(Daisy) "I didn't tell him!"
(Ace) "I meant Julia!"
