🇮🇳CHAPTER FORTY SIX~

Sonarika looked for Rahul all around the hotel and on not finding him anywhere else she went to the terrace.

There she found him standing near the railing and went towards him. Rahul turned around as he heard a footsteps and got startled to see Sonarika.

"Tum yahan pe?" he asked.

"Haan.. Voh aise hi ayi thi. Tum kya kar rahe ho yaha?" Sonarika asked in a very casual tone.

"Main bhi aise hi baas.."

"So Athiya mili thi niche.. " Sonarika said and looked at Rahul who looked back at her and said, "Accha.. What did she say?"

"Umm kuch nahi. Kyu usse kuch bolna chaiye tha?"

"Nahi toh.. Baas aise hi puch raha tha."

Sonarika looked at Rahul and started laughing while nodding her head as Rahul arched his brows and said, "What happened? Why are you laughing like that?"

"Trish was right! Idiot hi ho tum sab ek number ke.." she said making Rahul frown and he said, "Aab kya kar diya maine?"

"Vohi toh problem hain! Kuch kiya hi nahi tumne. Nahi kuch kiya nahi kuch kaha aab aise kaise mujhe kuch pata chalega?"

"Why are you talking in riddles like this? Jo bolna hain clearly bolo naa, " Rahul said getting impatient.

Sonarika smiled and took a step towards him, she stood in front of him and said, "Athiya said that you two broke up and somehow I'm the reason for it. So Mr. KL Rahul, can you please explain it?"

Rahul chuckled and said, "So that's what I asked, what did she said? Why did you lie to me?"

"Why would I tell you everything? You also need to do your part."

"You girls are so complicated!" Rahul said as Sonarika glared at him and Rahul added, "Fine! Main hi bolta hoon. Vaise I planned on doing this more nicely but I guess it's fine.."

He held both of Sonarika's hand and said, "Okay so.. Okay I don't know how to do this!"

Sonarika frowned and made a face at him and turned away from him. Rahul chuckled and made her turn towards him and said after taking a deep breath, "Sonarika.. I am a very simple guy, who actually likes very simple things in life. Yes one might think otherwise seeing the outer version of mine but beyond all that I am actually very much a common guy who struggles to find real connection with other people.. I don't connect with people easily."

He held her hand and said, "But somehow I connected with you from the very first time I met you. I didn't understand why but I could find the peace I was looking for in you. I didn't realise when I started liking you and that eventually evolved into love or maybe I did understand but kept it hidden because I was committed to someone else. But now I am free and I can finally say that.."

Rahul knelt down in front of her and said while extending his hand to her, "I love you Sonarika and I promise to keep loving you all our lives. Will you give me that chance?"

Sonarika smiled and nodded her head and held his hand while saying, "Obviously I'll.. I'll give you all the chances in the world."

Rahul chuckled and stood up after placing a kiss on her hand and engulfed her into a hug.

"I love you too Rahul. I always did. You don't how much it killed me to know the fact that you couldn't be mine," Sonarika said and Rahul cupped her face and placed a kiss on her forehead and said, "You will never have to be hurt again. I will always be yours from now on."

Sonarika looked at him with a smile and Rahul looked back at her and pulled her for a kiss.
