Tommy went up to his new room and placed down his box of things and looking around his new room, it was a medium sized room with blue painted walls and his mattress on the floor that the movers put in there. He left his room to go downstairs to see what his father was doing and when he got down there it seemed that his dad was on the phone with someone, so Tommy just decided to look around the house.

Tommy went back up the stairs and then while he was walking up the stairs, he noticed something in the wall by the bathroom door. He walked over to it and then seen it was a small door, he figured that it was just a cupboard that had been wallpapered up so he left it alone and went to look around the house more.

He went back downstairs and even though his dad was on the phone, he asked him "Dad, can I go look outside?" while Clay was walking around the house while talking to whoever he was talking to, Clay yelled slightly at Tommy and said "Tommy! go away, I'm busy." and Tommy sighed and looked at him and walked away from his father and walked out of the house without permission.

He put his dark blue coat on and went outside looking for something to do, he went outside the back of the house and seen a big large field with a forest behind it and then at the corner of his eye he saw the cat he seen from earlier. The cat meowed at him and Tommy said "Hello" while kneeling down a couple of feet away from the cat and snapping his fingers to try and get it to come near him, the cat walks over towards Tommy and sits by him and puts its paw on Tommy's leg while tilting its head.

Tommy pets the cat accouple of times before hearing his name being called, "Tommy, get back in here now!" his dad yelled. Tommy rolled his eyes and sighed because his father made the cat run away by yelling for him. Tommy ran back to the back door of the house and told his dad "What?" with an attitude, "I never told you that you could go outside yet" Clay said with a stern voice while looking down at Tommy.

"But you were "busy" on the phone so I just left" Tommy said while doing air quotation marks when he said busy, then Clay says "I was busy, you need to unpack your things before you go outside."

Then Tommy looks down and the ground and mumbles "Yeah, probably busy talking to George.", George is Clay's friend who Tommy makes fun of his dad for. Tommy's dad heard what he said and looks down at him and says "What was that?" and Tommy looks up and says "Nothing...".

A couple hours later, Tommy and his dad are eating supper and Tommy is just fidgeting around with his food because he didn't like what they were eating tonight. "Tommy, just eat it. Its not that bad" Clay said looking at Tommy, "I don't like it, it taste horrible!" Tommy yelled while pointing at the plate that had vegetables with melted cheese on them and then slamming his hand against the table.

Clay looked up from his plate and glared at Tommy and raised his voice a little and said "Don't you slam your hand on the table. Just eat your food and be quiet." and Tommy groaned and yelled "No!" and stood up from his seat and then Clay gets up from his seat and points to the stairs and raises his voice "Tommy, go to your room. now."  and then Tommy stomps up his stairs and mumbles something incoherent and Clay half-yells "Stop acting like a 5 year old."

Tommy stops half way through of stomping up the stairs and turns around to say something but his dad is already on the phone with someone. Tommy turned back around and headed towards his room and went in and slammed his door which caused the hallway to shake, Tommy was looking around in his room because it seems like the previous owners had left some stuff behind. Tommy opens a drawer and he finds a key in it shaped like a button, he picks it up and looks at it and says to himself "What does this go to?" he closes the drawer and tries putting the key into his room door but it doesn't fit so he walks out of his room and then at the corner of his eye, he sees the small door that had been covered up with wallpaper then walks over to it.

"Maybe it was for this?" Tommy thinks to himself and sits down by it and cuts the wallpaper with the key, then he puts the key in the slot and opens it but there's nothing there but just another wall. "Why is there a door if it leads nowhere?". Tommy closes the small door and walks back into his room and lays down on his mattress while holding the key and falling asleep.
