"fine" i told him getting up from kate's couch "who's car are we taking?" i asked while picking out clothes for school "kate's since she's got the biggest car" simon said walking out
after i get ready, i throw my bag onto my shoulders, i was slouching because of how heavy it was "jeez maddie, what'd u pack in there a cow?" simon said, with a snicker.
i looked at him annoyed, "haha, very funny" i said sarcastically. kate came out of the restroom, she had put her hair in a ponytail. "ooh, who are you getting all dolled up for?" i said.
"its no shocker, obviously its my brother, i guess since she said i love you to him shes gonna make their relationship even better!" deena said, as she rolled her eyes.
kate and i both rolled our eyes back at her, i thought kate and josh were cute together, they do really love eachother. i wish i could have that relationship with ziggy, but what are the odds she hates me right?
kate snapped me out of my thoughts "you ready to go?" kate asked "yeah" i replied, simon interuppted
"woah woah woah- we're not gonna eat breakfast?" he asked "no dingus, we woke up late, just grab a granola bar on our way out" kate replied
"guys stop being rude bitches to eachother and let's go before we're late!" heather said as simon filpped kate off "alright, let's go" i say as i grab everyone a granola bar
"i call dibs on shotgun" simon said "what are you, 10 years old?" deena replied "oh shut up dee" simon as we call get in the car

summertime sadness was one of those songs that i related to, me and ziggy go way back, we used to be best friends, until she started dating nick and now that bridge will forever be relatable.
"mads? you there?" simon shaked me "huh? yeah i'm here" i replied as i snapped out of my thoughts "we have arrived!" kate announced
"mhm" i replied getting out of the car another day at school means another day of seeing ziggy and her dipshit boyfriend, i can never admit it, but it hurts seeing her and nick together. i wish that wouldve been us. i always wonder how things wouldve been if i wasn't so harsh on her. if i could go back in time and change one thing, thats what it would be
