Arabella's POV:
Everything has gotten so much worse ..
It had all started just days after going to the zoo for Dudley, Harry and I's cousin's birthday. One simple mistake happened and he fell in to a snake exhibit. Now both Harry and I have been locked away under the stairs for longer amounts of times, and even when we are let out it's nothing but yelling and hitting.
Under the stairs is safer for us I think.
It wasn't even my fault, nor Harry's I don't believe at least. I mean the glass did disappear after Dudley had pushed Harry to the ground.. but it was just coincidence. It looked as though it disappeared like magic from where I was standing to go help Harry up, but I'm sure it just... slid down? Magic isn't real. Harry didn't talk to a snake and I didn't hear one either. well maybe..

No ones POV:Finally the day's rolled along and everything had seemingly calmed. The house was relatively calm and quite as Arabella sat quietly in the kitchen, her bright green eyes watching as her aunt Petunia made breakfast for Dudley and Vernon. The sound of the letter box clicking at the door indicated the day's mail arriving. Hearing a grunt from her uncle Vernon Arabella's eyes travelled over to watch her older brother Harry leave the dining area to collect said mail.
While Harry collected the mail he began to swipe through it slowly readying himself to come back to the kitchen. He paused seeing a set of two letters addressed to one
' Mr. H. Potter' as well as one to 'Miss. A. Potter'
With his eyes widening a bit he glanced over his shoulder before looking back at the letters and slowly turns to make his way to the kitchen again. As if on cue he opened the door and Arabella was already making her way quietly and quickly to him, eyebrows furrowing as she watched him mindlessly hand Vernon the other two letters and kept a curious gaze on the ones he held in his own hands. Harry ignored his sister now standing beside him and her curious gaze by simply turning his letter over and beginning to tear the back opened.
Dudley slipped out of his seat like the snake he is with a frown on his face, and ripped both letters from Harry's hands so quickly that neither twin had time to react.
"Dad look ! Harry's got a letter!" He screeched out pushing himself towards his father, clearly oblivious to the fact he now had two pieces of paper in his hands.
"Hey give it back, it's mine!" Harry angrily stated taking a few steps towards where Dudley once sat. Arabella close behind him, a pathetic excuse of a scowl on her soft features.
"You can't just take things that aren't yours!" She suddenly snapped at the rude boy she hates to call her family while trying to defend her brother.
Grabbing the two letters with a chuckle Vernon began to speak "Yours? Who would be writing to you two?" He said in almost a mocking tone before slowly flipping both of the letters in his hands over.
In a second the smile he held was wiped off his face and he nervously glanced at his wife who was now leaning on his left shoulder. Her eyes wide as saucers and eyebrows furrowed. Before the two of them both looked at Arabella and Harry with what could be made up as confusion, and anger? The looks the two 10 year olds received caused Arabella to grab the back of Harry's oversized plaid jacket for comfort, and for Harry to audibly gulp while staring back at them like a deer in headlights.
