"We're ready for you now. Follow me."

No ones POV:

Walking through the huge doors that just owned up on their own, the large group of first years made their way into the dining area walking in between the middle of all the tables following the professor to the front in groups of two. Hermione Granger, and Arabella were a group of two together and walking towards the front when she heard Hermione mention how the ceiling was not real and it was merely bewitched to look like the night sky. Of course Arabella was over the moon with that information as she tried to soak up every little detail she could find out about the wizarding world.

"I've read about it in Hogwarts: A History." Hermione said causing Arabella to glance at her before glancing a round the room again.
" I would love to read it if you don't mind helping me find the book." She responded in a kind tone, interest in the book laced clearly in her request. Hermione seemed taken back, almost surprised that Arabella would be interested in reading such a book, but quickly recovered. This was a start to a friendship of two very smart book enjoyer's.

Well all the students finally ride to the front of the dining hall the professor walked up the few steps and ask them to wait along the stairs where they dispersed of the groups of two, Arabella making her way back to Harry's side once again.

" Now before we begin, Professor Dumbledore would like to say a few words." The woman spoke up. Everyone was silent and turned their attention to the older man who was now standing up at the head of the table.

" I have a few start of term notices I wish to announce. The first years please note that the dark forest is strictly for bidden to all students. Also our caretaker, Mr. Filch, has asked me to remind you all that our third-floor corridor, on the right hand side is out of bounds for anyone who does not wish to die a most painful death." The older man spoke out, his eyes glancing over all the now worried kids faces, as his voice travelled through the dinning hall with ease.

"Thank you." Is all he said afterwards and sat back down as if he hadn't just mentioned painful death.

The beautiful Professor and green and black slowly opened a squirrel and brought all the attention of the dining room back on herself once again.
" When I call your name, you will come forth. I will place the sorting hat upon your head and you will be sorted in to your houses." She spoke aloud for all to hear before looking down then back up. " Hermione Granger!" She called out. Arabella glanced at the girl as she looked hesitant, gently patting Hermione's arm as a mix between of 'you got this' and 'good luck'. Hermione gave Arabella the tiniest of smiles before starting to go up the stairs and mumble to herself about relaxing.

"Mental that one.. I'm telling ya'" Ron apple causing Arabella to give him a slight nudge in the arm shaking her head no softly. Although Harry just seemed to agree by raising his eye brows a few times causing Arabella to nudge him gently as well, making sure to go unnoticed by everyone else.

Hermione sat on the chair and the hat was placed on her head. The hat started to talk which startled Arabella, but then again she realized that hat was like something in a fairytale book, it was talking ! Snapping her out of her thoughts was a loud.

" Gryffindor !" from the sorting hat before cheers ripped through the dinning hall from the Gryffindor table. Arabella watches Hermione happily hopped on the steps and took a seat at her new table before turning her head up to the front when the rude boys name was called. Arabella was watching closely as the boy went sat down and before the hat could even sit on his head it yelled out -
