Bombardments explode around our trench. Shots sound out from in front of us. The general orders our company of 200 soldiers  to charge the enemy trench. The reason this is a suicide command is that the shadow inklings/octolings have developed a type of shooter that shoots small knife blades in a rapid succession. This can critically injure our soldiers and have more bad effects than normal weapons. Anyway our company soldiers look at each other stand up and climb up the trench. We charge toward the enemy trench. Shots start zipping by and people start dropping. Our charge rifle users start returning fire when in range, but they get cut down. I am a few meters away when I scream out in pain. I got shot in the upper leg and lower stomach. I feel intense pain in my stomach and my leg feels like it's on fire. The pain is so intense that tears start to well up in the corners of my eyes. My ink starts to leak out of my mouth and I crash into the mud. My vision is blurring a little, and I thought I was going to die when I feel a tug in my vest and get dragged into the trench.
