Binghe quickly ran to the dormitories when he heard the news that his husband adopted a child.

When he entered the dormitory, he was faced with an adorable and wholesome scene.
Binghe was screaming internally and clutching his heart on how cute the scene before him

looked. His husband and his newly adopted child snuggling as they slept. His husband's arms were wrapped around their newly adopted baby boy as they both slept peacefully in the afternoon light.

He smiled and walked towards them slowly, in an effort not to wake his son. He went to the bedside and tapped his husband's shoulder lightly.

His husband stirred awake and looked at him groggily.

He smiled and held Binghe's hand. "Look Binghe we finally have our own child." He said softly.

Binghe looked at him and smiled happily. "This disciple is sure that Shizun will be a great father to our child." He said before planting a kiss on Shen Qingqiu's forehead.

Shen Qingqiu smiled, and his gaze hovered towards the sleeping child.

"This- our child is named Xie Lian." He informed Binghe. Luo Binghe was ecstatic.

'Our child! Our baby boy!' He thought happily. "Xie Lian? To thank before pity? What a beautiful name." He replied.

"Are we going to change his name to Luo Lian? Or Shen Lian? Or are we going to let him keep his name?" Luo Binghe asked.

Shen Qingqiu thought about that for a moment. "We'll let him decide when he wakes up." He replied. Just then Xie Lian started to awake from his slumber. He yawned and rubbed his eyes groggily.

"Baba who is this?" Xie Lian asked innocently. Xie Lian noticed the man looked scary and could feel the overwhelming amount of demonic energy leaking from the man.

Xie Lian paled and became terrified. "Baba! He's scary! Don't tell me you're going to sell me! Please don't!" He cried out as he dove back into Shen Qingqiu's embrace.

Shen Qingqiu patted his head awkwardly. Luo Binghe whined. His kid just said he was scary; he was hurt beyond recognition.

"Lian-er do not worry, this man is your other father." He spoke. The child lifted his head to look at him. "R-really? He's not here to hurt me?" He asked Shen Qingqiu. Shen Qingqiu shook his head.

The child beamed and looked at Luo Binghe. "Yay! I have two daddies now!" He exclaimed and shot Luo Binghe with the most heart wrenching and cute smile he has ever seen. Luo Binghe clutched his heart.

"Lian-er you are too cute!" He spoke. Xie Lian grinned even wider and lifted his arms up, a gesture that meant he wanted to be carried.

Luo Binghe happily followed and lifted him up. Shen Qingqiu stood up from the bed now that the child was off him.

Luo Binghe looked at the child covered in bandages. He looked at his husband worriedly. "What happened to you Lian-er?" Luo Binghe asked. Xie Lian pouted unhappily and replied. "A big monster attacked Lian-er and hurt him after he escaped from the bad house."

Luo Binghe frowned. "Bad house?" He asked. Xie Lian nodded. "Bad house was filled with bad people who hurt Lian-er. They told me that if I don't clean, they would kill me. And when I fell asleep because Lian-er was tired they would get whip and whip Lian-er for being bad and lazy." He said sadly.

The two men flinched. What horrible people! To inflict abuse onto this small child! Luo Binghe smiled at the child. "Don't worry Lian-er, Daddy will protect you." He spoke. Xie Lian grinned. "I know daddy will protect me." He replied.
