⚠️: Trigger warning for mention of vomiting in the very beginning!

"Oh, thank you." Kellin spoke softly as he took the water-filled glass from Vic. His head felt as if it was about to implode and his stomach had just decided to expel everything he had eaten that day from the sheer amount of alcohol he had consumed throughout the night.

"You know," The taller one said as he sat beside the shorter, "you shouldn't drink so much for such a small guy."

Kellin removed the cup from his lips and used his free hand to lightly shove the other, earning a small laugh from him.

Vic then sighed, turning to unlit fireplace. "Almost everyone left."

"Who's still here?"

"Uh, your brother, Jaime, Oli and Alissa."

Kellin's face transitioned to an emotion the other couldn't read when he had said "Tugger".

"He feels awful, you know."

"What?"

"Oli, he feels awful for you getting sick."

"But it's not-"

The smaller boy was cut off by Oli coming into the candlelit room, glass in his hand and worry on his face.

"I brought you this," he said as he held it out, sloshing a bit of the water onto the floor.

"I can see that," Kellin replied, taking the glass from him with a small nod, "thank you, Oliver."

"Are you okay? Do you need something to eat?"

"No, I'm fine."

A small knock from the doorway caused the three occupants of the room to turn toward it.

"Can we come in?" Andy asked, eyeing his younger brother.

Kellin nodded and he was immediately by his side, sitting before cupping and examining his face.

"Andy, I'm fine."

"You got sick!"

"Yeah but I'm fine now. Both Tugger and Demeter brought me water and I've been in this dark, quiet room since I did get sick."

"But you-"

"Quiet, you," Kellin spoke softly, giving his brother a look of "drop it" before he had decided to tune into the conversation happening around them.

"Jaime, it's freezing in here." Alissa had whined, plopping herself into Oli's seat before she was promptly shoved off.

"Then turn on the fireplace," Oliver had replied as he shoved her to the floor.

"But it's filthy!"

"I'll get it," Jaime spoke up finally, deciding he didn't want a drunk and crying girl in his father's office.

"Oh, Oli!"

"Yeah, Vic?"

"Why don't you sing for us? We didn't get to hear your band play tonight and I'm sure we would all still like to hear you."

"I guess I could sing..." Olive said before he glanced at Alissa, "it's not like we could play with her like this, anyway."

The brit then turned his attention to Kellin, "would you be okay if I did sing?"

The smaller boy nodded.

Oliver grinned, turning to the acoustic guitar that Jaime's father had on the wall before taking it off and going back to his seat.
