Yello there,

Nothing to say, I hope you enjoy.

-----------------------------------------------

The night was calm and the clouds were absent from the sky. Perfect time for Jay to perfect his plan.

Grabbing the blanket and the perfectly crafted picnic basket with all their favourite snacks, he headed outside, walking a bit down the steps down the monastery, and set everything up on a fairly big sized rock.

Quickly sending a text to his beloved, he waited patiently for her. Five minutes later he heard her footsteps. Stopping beside him, he needn't bother to look who it was.

"Why are we down here?"

Instead of responding, he just patted the place beside him. She looked at him with a questioning stare, before seating herself down next to him.

Jay immediately threw his arm around her waist, bringing her closer to him. She was a bit surprised, but snuggled into him regardless.

"We have been in the city for a while, and then into a different realm, both where you can't see the stars." He paused for a moment. "I'm not sure if there were stars in the first realm. It is a possibility that they all died. Or never existed."

She heard him sigh, putting his head on hers. "I guess we are lucky to have other stars and planets to admire. Even if you can't see them in the city."

She laughed. "At least you have had a chance to go into space to see them! I was stuck down here on ground control. I thought for a while you weren't coming back." A single tear fell from her eyes.

"Hey-" he kissed the tear away. "If it helps, I was worried I wouldn't be able to come back to you too. But I am here now." If ideas made a physical lightbulb, Jay would have had one to light up the entire mountain.

"What you say we design our own spaceship and suits and go into space, just the two of us."

That got her attention, first of surprise, but then one of deep thought.

"That- that could work. But the amount of planning and thought we would need to do to make sure we get there and survive would be immense. Besides, where would we even get the equipment?"

Jay thought for a second "We could try that old launch site, they may have plans and enough equipment for us to make a start on it, plus it would be nice to work in a full scope facility for once. No offence to ours here, but it's a bit small"

"Fair" was all she said. Their workshop was barely bigger than a garage. They could use a bigger workshop.

"But anyways" Jay distracted. "That's all for the future. Let's just enjoy the stars from down here before we go up ourselves to see it." He pulled out some grapes, detaching them from the bunch stem and popping them in his yang's mouth, watching her face light up, enjoying them. Grabbing an apple for himself, he kept feeding her grapes while taking a bite out of his own fruit, watching her instead.

The stars may be holding endless beauty, always changing and never staying still, however, despite loving them since he was young, watching them with his parents, he had found something, someone who was even more beautiful than all of the stars combined.
