~{The begining}~

Steve wakes up ten minutes after his alarm. He sits up and looks at the time then a loud "SHIT!!" comes out of his mouth as he realizes he's late to work

"Shit shit shit!" Steve yells as he runs to his closet rummaging through his clothes looking for something to wear. When he finally finds an Outfit he grabs his bag full of tapes and runs into his car and driving to the movie rental store.

Once Steve arrives and gets out the car he already notices Robin looking at him like he just committed a chrime. Steve walks into the door and like she was the flash Robin calmly says "You said you wouldn't be late again". Robin grabs a board that says you suck on one side and you rule on the other, then marks another mark on the you suck side.

Steve looks over at her confused "Hey this time I was only 10 minutes!!"
Robin looks at him as if he's illegal
"Seriously?"
Steve sighs and then puts his bag of tapes on the counter
"I'll work later than normal today- since you want to complain" he says like a child then sticking out his tongue like one aslwell.

Robin laughs then goes back to sorting through the tapes
A few minutes after they sorted that out a costumers walked through the door,
Steve's eyes widen as if he just saw a ghost
Robin looks over at Steve also in shock as the man walks toward the two
"Hello?"
Steve walks away acting like he has something else to do
Robin looks at the man while changing her facial expression
"Sorry, how may we assist you sir?"
The man looked at Steve in the back
"I'd like the movie he's holding right there"

Robin looks at Steve and yells
"HE WANTS THAT MOVIE STEVE"
Steve sighs as he realizes he's going to have to speak to the man
"Ok Robin-"
Steve walks toward Robin and the man and hands the man his movie
As he grabs the movie the man looks in Steve's hazel brown eyes, making eye contact
Steve gulps, as the room goes silent
The man grabs the movie then hands Robin the money
"Thank you, cya next time"

As the man walks away Steve can't help but notice his long blonde locks bouncing up and down as he walks away

~{Time skip}~

Steve locks the door at work
And since today was a slow day and he was late he agreed to staying to lock the doors for Robin
As Steve locked the doors and turned around he noticed to figures standing in the parking lot
The one that looked exactly like the man he saw earlier at work
And the other that had long fluffy brown hair and wore a shirt like his friend Eddie did
Steve decided not to pay any attention to it since many people from the Hellfire club dressed like Eddie to honor him after his death

Steve tried avoiding them as much ss possible while walking towards his car but sadly Steve's car was right across from theirs
Steve opens the trunk of his csr not paying attention to the two men behind him and puts away his tapes silently
The long haired man turned to look at Steve and said
"Been a long while, hasn't it pretty boy?"
Steve pauses...
As if the man just hit a really bad nerve that was going to cause him to have another episode
(In my AU Steve has major panic attacks and Hemetamesis the meaning of hemetamesis is at the bottom of this episode)

Steve tries calming himself down before turning around and looking at the two men
"What do you mean by that...sir.."
The man he saw in work replies with a simple
"You don't remember? We used to talk all the time"
Steve looks confused trying to make it seem ss if he doesn't understand,
He isn't insane
Or atleast he though he wasn't

"Excuse me?" Steve says a tear forming in his eye
The two men look at him
The blonde one says
"You knew my sister, Max?"
Steve knew either they were real or someone was fucking with him
This happens often
People found out about Steve's episodes pretty quickly and messed with him often
Especially Tommy..

Steve looks at them both
"Your not Billy or Eddie, that's physically impossible!"
The blonde looks at him laughing a bit as if Steve was slightly insane
"Your dead so that can't be true-"
The long haired man walked closer towards Steve and boops him on the nose as if all of this was just a big joke
Steve wasn't impressed nor happy about this
He found it to be ridiculous
"Ok stop fooling around, I'm being serious I'm tired of you guys always fucking with me!"

The blonde looks at Steve confused
"You don't believe us?"
Steve looks at him
"NO?! Why would I! Both Billy and Eddie is DEAD, theres nothing I should be believing!"

The blonde laughs and walks toward Steve
"And if it was true? That we're not dead?"
Steve turns around and goes back to putting up his bags and closes the trunk
The blonde repeats his question but this time more clearly like he was serious about it
Steve just ignores the question and cranks his car

The two men then nod at each other and get inside their car and drive off
Steve lays his head on the steering wheel in relief
He hated when these pranks happened
Because he knew they were lies
But even still all he could think about was how close he was to the blondes face, the eye contact..his brown eyes meeting his blue ones
His blue eyes felt like the were pulling you in and you couldn't escape...

Steve tried not to think about it, even when he got home
But he couldn't help but to keep going back to how much the two looked like Eddie and Billy
As much as he hated the thought
What if they were telling the truth?
