As soon as Jungkook's figure moved away from his eyesight the smile that adored Taehyung's face faded away and the cold demeanor slowly masked his face. He walked up to his table and sat on his chair to dial his Secretary.
'Ms. Park... Come to my cabin.'
As soon as he finished his sentence he cut the call not waiting for a reply.
Within minutes Ms. Park was standing in front of the CEO's cabin preparing herself for facing the wrath of the CEO. She heaved a sigh and slowly knocked on the door. As soon as she heard the deep voice echoed through the cabin with a 'Come in.', she stepped inside the cabin with slow steps and stood before the CEO.
'Did you know why I called you at this moment Ms.Park?' Taehyung asked without raising his head from the project report he was correcting.
'Yes, Sir. ' she replied instantly which perked up Taehyung's interest, who looked up from the report, raising an eyebrow at her.
She gulped in the spot.
He pushed back the chair, crossed his legs and tapped on the armrest with his fingertips.
'Mind sharing what it is with me, Ms.Park?' he asked in his usual cold tone, looking at her intensely.
'I should not share anything I saw here with anyone.' she said with her head hung low.
'I didn't know you were this clever Ms.Park... If you are this clever you shouldn't have entered the cabin... That too - the CEO's cabin - without his permission.' Taehyung barked out as he slammed his fist on the table.
His Secretary flinched at the impact.
'I am sorry sir... Please forgive me I didn't know...' she said, looking at the said male with fearful eyes.
'You should have thought about that before barging into the room like that and disturbing us.' Tae continued as his voice dropped into a deeper octave with each word.
'I was worried about you Sir... you were with Jeon... We can't trust him and moreover you shouldn't fall for his tactics, sir... He is a known playboy. He even seduced your brother. He can't be...' before she could complete the sentence a fist collided on the glass table and Tae was standing there glaring at her.
'Shut the fuck up... You understand that? First of all it's Mr Jeon for you. And what I do is my decision and my life is my business. Should I have to remind you that your job costs your children's education and the amount you spend monthly on salloons and shopping. So seal your mouth and don't tell anyone about what you saw. And if I ever heard you disrespect Mr Jeon one more time, say goodbye to your job. You understand that? I want all the reports of this week's infront of my table in one hour. Now get out of my sight!' his voice got furious with each passing second.
The secretary who was hearing all this silently nodded, not wanting to lose the high paying job and praying to all gods that she can finish the task in time.
Taehyung sat on the chair with a thud as soon as the secretary left the cabin. He wanted to scream into her face that 'Say one more word about my angel you are dead!' but he couldn't...
He pulled out his purse and shuffled through the arrays until he pulled out the picture in the last array which was secretly hidden.
It was a picture of Jungkook, who was happily eating an icecream. It was taken two years ago when both of them secretly went to Paris undercover on a business trip and Tae took the picture secretly without the other knowing. It has been with him since that day. He always loved how Jungkook enjoyed eating food with so much happiness and passion.
