the next morning there is an article in the newspaper. It's about Annie's magic trick which saved a life. - Jenny's life. "MAGIC WITCH OR SIGN FROM GOD"
George opens the newspaper and looks at anything he can read. His eyes fall on the little article and frowns his forehead. "Yesterday got a young mother saved after days of death! A woman saved her life." are the first lines George reads in the paper. He sighs. He looks around to see if Annie is anywhere near him. But she isn't. He reads further in the paper "Early evening the magic woman ran to the front of the church and saved the dead woman." George sighs. He feels like this will be a hell of famous all over again. He was done by being famous and he sort of found peace back in this future life. Not that he never gets chased but he can at least do his shopping in peace. But now being the husband of a magic woman the world seems like they will pick back on George. If press can find out about what happened yesterday. How about anything else? There wasn't even press with them yesterday. There was nobody. Just all the Beatles with their families and friends. George sighs. He hates it when these kind of mysteries are in his life. It makes him sad. It makes him desperate and sometimes it makes him depressed. He wants to be left in peace. Just together with friends and family.
Annie walks over. She looks tired. Yesterday has cost her a lot of energy and it still has some kinds of effect on her.
George looks at her. "Are you okay?" He asks worried.
"I'm tired.. I feel weak.. I'm cold..." Annie complains, she's a bit of a drama queen but George loves her. He knows she is fair and would never ever lie. She falls down on the sofa next him.
George lays the paper away and wraps his arms around her. "You're so cold.. " He says worried.
"I told you I was cold.." Annie says. She yawns, from tiredness and from the cold skin and organs.
"You really used to much yesterday..." He says worried.
Annie changes topic. She doesn't want that George keeps talking about her like she is a very silly girl. "What was you reading about?" She asks.
"News from the newspaper... They figured out your talent." George says sadly.
Annie sighs. "It's fine they know the theory but not me. After NASA I've got enough press having on my heels." Annie says.
George tries to remember if Annie ever told him about NASA, so far he knows she was living with Sebastian for a long while and Brian.. who saved her life. But.. NASA ? He thinks. Then he remembers a bit about a story that she and Brian worked at NASA. They were really great and got famous. But because Annie couldn't hold on all of the stress and went insane she got fired. Brian stopped to keep looking after Annie.
"George?" Annie asks.
George snaps out of his thoughts and looks at her curiously.
"You went blank.." she says concerned.
"I got lost in thoughts." He replies.
Annie nods. She rests against him and tries to warm herself up. She's running on George's energy anyway. He has a special energy which keeps her alive. If George would die. there would be some more people die. she sighs and closes her eyes. She falls asleep. She's too tired to keep awake.
