"What's wrong?" Lydia greets her best friend, Alannah Knight, as she joins the strawberry blonde in the library.
"Scott didn't tell you?" Alannah questions with a bewildered look.
"No..what's up?" Lydia shrugs.
"It's too long of a story for me to explain right now. Anyway, show me what you wanted to show me." Alannah sighs.
Lydia lets out a sigh as well before opening up the book to a particular page that had caught her attention earlier.
"A Bearer of Death and Guardian of the Supernatural, the black dog is also known by its more common name The Hellhound." Lydia reads from the book at one of the tables in the school library.
Alannah opens her mouth to ask her a question but Lydia shuts the book looking frightened.
"Lyds?" Alannah questions in fright as well.
She knows that look.
"You know what's coming."
The two girls jump up in surprise when they hear Theo's voice from behind them.
"Don't you?" he states with a raised eyebrow, looking at the two girls.
"Someone's going to die here." Lydia admits.
Alannah looks between her and Theo with an uneasy feeling in her stomach.
"You're right." He smirks.
"But I can't let you tell anyone." He pouts.
"Why?" Lydia questions.
"Because I want you, all of you." Theo says as his eyes mover from Lydia to Alannah.
"What do you mean?" the blonde questions.
"I'll give you some time to think about it." He grins, knocking Lydia out.
"Theo!" Alannah gasps as she bends down to help her unconscious friend.
"Lydia? Lydia!" she cries out.
"Uh-oh." Theo clicks his tongue and tightly grabs onto Alannah's hand.
"Almost all of you." He fakes a frown.
"That won't work around here." He lets out a bitter laugh.
"Why are you doing this? I trusted you." Alannah questions out loud.
"I didn't want to hurt you, believe me. But I had to." Theo smirks.
"Hurt me?" Alannah asks while still trying to tend to her friend.
Without a warning she feels a sharp stab in her side making her gasp loudly.
Her eyes bulge in disbelief as she stares at the fresh stab wound on her side caused by Theo.
"You are the puzzle I have to get rid of." Theo snickers as he digs the knife deeper into her side causing the blonde to gasp out in agony as her eyes close tightly.
"I have to give it you Alannah, you did a good job at keeping the group together." The blonde reaches out for his hand trying to push him away, but he digs the knife in even deeper, circling the weapon inside her.
He is tearing up her insides.
"No one will save you sunshine." He smirks as a chocked-out sob escapes from Alannah's mouth.
Her vision grows blurry as she stares at the sticky red-hot blood on her fingers.
Theo ignores her sobs as he digs through her purse trying to find her phone.
