More discussion on depression in schools is necessary. While depression is a tough subject to discuss with children and teens, it can save a life. Clinical depression is a word used to define a serious case of depression. Clinical depression has an impact on how you feel, think, and act, and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems (Mayo Clinic). Some schools should stop ignoring kids and start helping them. Sometimes all a child needs is a trusted adult who can also talk about their problems. Talking to someone, or even just listening to them, or even hugging them, can help a lot. The school system needs to realize this quickly.
