I left the video in the media part above so you can watch the video about the meteor. I think I'm gonna write a little bit, but it's not as good as watching the game if that makes sense.

The sky is bright several shades of blue before streaks of red, orange, and yellow fall across the horizon. The buildings on the coast are full of people, some scrambling to get out, others doomed to stay where they are. It's deemed 'the end of the world', sending a majority of people fleeing.

A state of emergency has been declared, subway stations are opened as shelters for those who cannot escape fast enough. Words of emergency broadcasts are lost as hundreds of thousands of people are displaced, lost, or even... dead.

However, just as soon as the memory had come, it disappears.

The Following Morning...

Y/N's P.O.V.

It's as I'm standing in the shower that I recount everything my tired mind missed last night. There was an agreement to meet in Maki's lab, as Kokichi ousted her in front of the fountain.

Maki lied. She's not the Ultimate Child Caregiver. She's the Ultimate Assassin, and the idea is to go check out her Ultimate Lab.

As for me, I don't wish to go. I don't feel up to it, and she was already someone to watch. Now that her true talent is revealed, she stands almost on the enemy line. My feeling is, as long as I stay out of her way and she stays out of mine, I think both of us will get out alive. At least, on terms, we will.

I button my suit jacket up and wring my hair out one last time before leaving the bathroom, halfway tempted to leave without pulling my hair up today. My gloves rest on the dresser by the door, and those are the last two things on my body before I open the door to the common area.

"Good morning, Gonta," I say, running into the entomologist as he closes his door.

"Oh, good morning, Y/N! How are you?" He comes downstairs from his room and raises his hand to wave at me.

"I'm well, how are you?"

"Gonta is good," he nods. There's something on his mind, and I'm tempted to ask him if he wants to talk about it, but he's an open book; he'll talk if he wants to. "Gonta curious; what do you think we'll find in Maki's lab?"

I shake my head and push the main dormitory door open. A breeze hits my fac and temporarily stuns me. "As childish of a guess as it is, I'm assuming we'll find some guns. I don't know much about the assassin world."

"Gonta wonder if she have nets...."

I chuckle. "Possibly. She didn't specify what kind of assassin she was."

"Hopefully not bug assassin..." he reaches down and touches the little terrarium on his hip. I've noticed it before, but I don't know if anything is in it.

"I wouldn't think so. Do you keep a bug in there? You carry the terrarium everywhere."

"No, Gonta find no bugs. If Gonta does find bug, they will be safe in here."

"That's good!" I smile at him as he reaches for the heavy door that leads to the main building. He gestures to let me in first, and I thank him.

There isn't much to say between the two of us. We come from different worlds, literally, and I'm content to let him talk about bugs. I don't know much about them, so listening to him talk about them fascinates me.

"Good morning, Shuichi," Gonta announces as we climb the last staircase. Ahead of me stands the detective, brushing his hair out of his face. He gives a small grin in our direction.
