Blissful sound of pure quietness is all Amberlynn Dallas could hear.
Just a few more minutes.
Amberlynn thought to herself.
Amberlynn or Amber has always had the perfect life.
Perfect family, perfect friends, school, clothes and was blessed to have been born with the perfect tan.
But there's one thing she doesn't have...and that is a boyfriend.
Amberlynn stretched her arms above her head as she opened her eyes.
"Another day to wake up with peace" Amberlynn said.
Amberlynn got out of bed and walked to the bathroom.
She looked in the mirror and smiled.
She grabbed her brush and began to brush her hair.
She had always loved her hair.
She gently pulled the brush through her hair.
After she brushed her hair,she went back into her room and slipped on her clothes.
She looked into the mirror once again to make sure her clothes were fixed right.
She smiled and headed downstairs.
"Morning Mom" Amberlynn said as she entered the kitchen.
"Morning honey,did you sleep okay?" Her mother Mary said.
"Yeah I slept great,what about you?"
"Same as you Amber"
"When is dad coming home again?"
"This Friday..why?"
"Because I miss him." "I mean we barely see him anymore"
Mary walked over to Amberlynn and hugged her and said.
"I know honey,but if it wasn't for him we would be on the streets."
Amberlynn looked at her Mother and saw something in her Mother's eyes she had never seen before...Sadness.
Amberlynn pulled away from Mary.
"I gotta get to school or I'm going to be late" Amberlynn said and kissed her Mother on the cheek.
"Be home my Six please!" Mary shouted after her daughter as she closed the front door.
