The night moves by quickly and though I now know what I am but I still don't feel any different. I guess it's normal as always. I go outside and the entire place is decorated I forgot about party today. I wonder if they drink? Wait teens and partys of course they're going alchohol. I continue to admire the decore and venekia approaches me.
"Beonca, your up early." She says.
"Early?" I ask.
"Yeah, today is sleep in day. You don't need to get up till party time! But since your up can you help me with some stuff?"
"Yea, sure as long as it won't take too much physical strength."
"Actually no, it more like a mental thing. For the dance room I was thinking that we could have it pink and blue and put the dj table over there in the corner. What do you think.?"
"Umm... I think it wud be better to have baby blue and dark blue scenery and instead of putting the dj table in the corner how about putting it in the centre-back." I tell her slightly unsure of what i said.
"Fabulous. It's unique, your plan is a go thanks for the help bb." She says and runs off. But the first thing that came to mind after she left was when she called me bb. Ha such a wierd Nickname.
"Bb what a name, it's unique" I turn arround to see kev laughing.
"Keep laughing, Kev."
"Of course I will." He said sarcasticly.
"Whatever kev." Despite all the things i found out i Find myself laughing.
"So about last night. Yes you were to find out about your heritage but your father was suppose to be the one to tell you. And at the moment your partially in danger."
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"Neigbour pack of wild yet tactical wolves in the area."
"Was that dead guy one if them?"
"No he was one if us. He was like a right hand man to my father"
As he answers my question I can help but ask myself what i'm getting into. What happens if they show tonight at the banquet or party or whatever they're having.
"Don't worry about tonight. It that night when they can't attack."
"What makes you so sure?"
"It's that time of year when the tides are a there highest get into the water and your dead, plus paranahs are at the far end so if you do survive and the water carrys you away they will kill you."
"Oh. So is tonight formal or what?"
"Formal, Rune and I are very classic persons. By the way it starts at 8 and it's 6 now."
"I better start getting ready then." I say and he chuckles before leaving.
I took a shower longer than usual then scurried to my room where I saw Maria appling make up.
"You do know you don't need that much makeup right?"
"I girl needs to look her best. You want me to do yours?" She asks.
"Sure and I'll do your hair. But first what am i going to wear?."
"You can wear anything in my closet if you wish."
"Naah thanks for the offer though. I'll just wear my white dress."
"I have a black belt that would great with it."
"Thanks."
"I'm done with my make up it's your turn!" She drags me by my hand and put me in the chair infront of the mirror and begins her work.
A few moments later i'm looking my best. I did our hair and before we know it it's 7:30.
We get dressed and we head to the aditorium. Me in my white pencil dress that stops at my knees, and wearing the black belt maria lent and my white matching purse. Maria in a dark blue leather skirt and black blouse with a black leather jacket.
When we get the aditorium kev was in a dark blue long slieve shirt and a tight black leather pants, vest, back shoes and black silk tie. Rune was in a black long slieve shirt tight white leather pants, vest, white shoes and white silk tie. As we approached insuddenly realize Rune and I were in the same colours in our outfit. It seemed as if he realized too because of the way he rose his eyebrow at me.
"Well you two look extremely elegant tonight" Kev says before he pulls Maria into his arms.
"Thank you" we both say. Not even a word from Rune. As I was about to talk to him a girl black pencil skirt and and a purple blouse and 6 inch heels runs up and hugs Rune from behind. Who else could it be but Hannah.
"Hey Rune can we talk please. If I'm not interupting anything."
"Interupting? What are you talking about?" Hannah asks.
"Um. Yeah, I thought you guys were together or something."
"Heeeeeelllllllll noooo, Rune is my cousin. I'm just the type of person that shows their family alot of love." She says and Rune chuckles
"Gosh, good bye Rune." She says and walks away.
"So what did you want to talk about?" He asks.
"Um... about last night and the night you said you loved me." I say and he looked at me surprised. I hope he doesn't disrespect me in any way.
"Sure, but don't you think the auditorium is to much of a loud place to talk. How about your dorm room much quieter there? And I don't have intensions of doing anything to you in there." He says and i giggle at the thought.
"Okay, let's go" I say and practically drag him to my dorm because he was walking slow. When we finally get there he plops down on Maria's bed. His eyes still looking empty and lost.
"So, um why are you behaving like this?" I ask
"Like what?" He asks back calmly.
"Umm. Like a wall, like you've blocked out everyone from emotions. For the past day you seemed lost and empty."
"I really don't see why you care."
"What do you mean?"
"You talk as if you care about me, which i know you don't. Your basically wasting you breathe." He say and looks right into my eyes.
"But i do care." As the words escape my mouth Rune gets up and walks out the door. Before i knew it i was chasing after him.
"Rune! Stop! Please just stop." He stopped walking and a tear fell to the ground from his face.
"I can't. You mess me up, I really don't understand why I'm still here. Maybe it's you or Kev or maybe Dad but I want to leave but I can't. Beonca if you only knew how crazy you make me. You're what made me what I am now. So to answer your question the reason why i'm like this is because of you." He say and i feel broken inside but it might have been worst for him. He sets to walk of again and I hold his hand and we ended kissing though I leaned in first, both of us kissing with passion then he suddenly stops.
"I thought you didn't like me." he says still holding on to me
"I lied because i was afraid you'd hurt me or break me." I say and he let's go and turns his back to me and sighs, then again we stand face to face.
"Why do you always do that?"
"Do what?"
"What you just did."
"What? What did i just do?"
"You always think that I will hurt you, which is something thay I'd never do. Why? Why do you always think that?"
"Because... I don't know... you just look like a person that would I guess."
"Outward appearance. I understand you see me as danger on the outside. But I'm not Beonca."
"I know that now and that's why i'm willing to us a chance."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Okay, might not be so bad."
"Your nervous or something."
"If only you knew." He says after his speaks his words I kiss him on the cheek and hold his hand and we both walk back to the auditorium.
