"hey, N/N!" jimin says, and greets you with a big hug. you wrap your arms around her before replying: "hi. i haven't seen you in forever!"

she lets herself go from the hug before putting her hands on your shoulders. "i know! i've been so busy i haven't had time to hang out. but we can today!"  jimin smiles.

"come on, let's go get ice cream now!" you say, and grab her hand, dragging her further into the mall.

after getting ice cream, you and jimin spent the rest of the afternoon shopping together. she even took you to one of your favorite shops to pick some new outfits.

"do you like this skirt on me?" you ask looking in the mirror, and jimin nods.

"yeah, it looks great! maybe you should get a smaller size though-?" jimin says.

(omg i just realized that could sound mean- but i promise it's not supposed to come off that way)

"true," you hang the skirt back on its hanger. "i'll go get a smaller size to try on. wait for me here?"

she gives you a thumbs up and you exit the fitting rooms, hoping they have the skirt for you. after successfully finding your size, you go back to try it on when-

"ow!" someone shrieks, "hey! watch where you're going!!"

"i'm so sorry!" you quickly apologize as you help the girl you bumped into off the ground. "are you okay?"

"i'm fine," she mumbled. when she was done dusting herself off you got a good look of her face and gasped.

"vicky?!!" you loudly exclaimed. "what are you doing here?"

the blonde girl raised an eyebrow at you, confused. "sorry?" she asks.

"it's you! remember me? i'm Y/N." you tell her, and she looks even more confused than before. "we've been texting for a while.." you start to trail off when you realize she doesn't know what your talking about, and the other girl giggles. "you must be mistaking me for someone else. my name is minjeong, i don't know who you or vicky are, i'm sorry."

"oh." you say sheepishly, "i thought you were someone else. it was nice meeting you though," you tell minjeong and she smiles. "nice meeting you too Y/N. maybe i'll be seeing you around?"

"yeah, maybe" you reply before walking off to find your best friend again.

"Y/N are you okay?" jimin asks you on the ride home. you had been thinking about what happened earlier that you forgot about your friend.

"yeah? sorry, i'm just tired," you lie and jimin nods.

"okay i'm just making sure," she replies, pulling up to your apartment. you get out of her car and say goodbye. "wait, Y/N, i want to show you something cool." jimin says and hands you something.

"it's.. the love dive album?" you ask and jimin nods.

"yeah! i won them and i was wondering if you wanted to go to the fansign with me--" she begins.
"i know it's not wjsn, but.."

(i don't know 100% how fansigns work so just bear w me)

"obviously i'll go with you..even if it's not wjsn!" you jokingly interrupt. "it'll be so much fun, text me the details though okay?"

jimin happily laughs before you two say goodbye again and she drives off.
