"So Luffy who's the brat ?" Koby immediately stiffened on the question. "Oh he is Koby." Luffy said while stuffing his mouth with t eehe food that Kai had on his ship. "Why were you on the ship with Alvida ?" Kai asked curious about what a kid would be doing on the ship of Alvida.
"Well i was trapped there for two years after I accidentally boarded their ship." Koby once again explained the events of that dreadful day. "Why didn't you tried to escape ?" Kai asked the same question as Luffy causing Koby to sweatdrop. 'Does they share the same brain cells ?' Koby thought surprised at how the two brothers could ask similar questions.
But before Koby could answer the question Luffy cut him to it. "He was scared and too weak to leave." Luffy said while patting his filled stomach and taking the seat at the front of the vessel.
"Oi, Koby you haven't told me about your dream ?" Luffy asked remembering that Koby was going to tell him about his dream before that Ugly Whale came flying out of the sky.
"Um ahh I I" Koby stammered scared of what might happen since he is stuck between a Pirate and a Marine. "I don't like to be kept waiting " Kai said causing Koby to sweat bullets.
"I WANT TO BE A MARINE, DO YOU THINK I CAN DO IT ?" Koby quickly yelled out trying to save himself. "Marine eh, you might have just solved my problem." Kai said relieved that he can finally leave the marines as he planned.
"Oi, Kai how did you get the black bamboo and that cat necklace ?" Luffy asked on finally noticing the new necklace that was around Kai's neck and the stick that was in Kai's hand.

"They are neither a cat necklace nor a black bamboo, you moron. And for how I got them Oba-chan gave them to me." This new information caused Luffy to pout. "What got into you suddenly ?" Kai asked wondering what suddenly got into his idiot of an older brother. "It's not fair." Luffy said while crossing his arms over his chest.
"What isn't ?" Kai asked not getting what his brother was referring to. "Oba-chan always gives you and Ace cool gifts unlike me." Luffy said remembering every time their Oba-chan came to visit them she never brought meat for him. Kai just slapped his forehead remembering what he was referring to.
