After the craziness that was the gala night, everything seemed to have gone back to normal. It's almost graduation time and pretty much hard to believe the year has ended that fast. Brandon knew better than to bother Adrian and Mayo anymore and instead chose to move away the week after graduation which was music to the couple's ears. True to his word, Adrian did get in touch with a therapist and Mayo was there every step of the way. Mayo's father seeing Adrian's effort to better himself had a new found mutual respect for the young man, he slowly and gradually starting coming around and for that Mayo was grateful.

The rest of the gang was doing more than okay. Rio and Issa were the valedictorians and were therefore busy preparing their speeches, well Rio was stressing but Issa was there to comfort her through everything. Chacha and his boyfriend Isaiah or Izzy for short, were doing more than okay and that made Mayo super happy for them. Kimmy and Carl were also going strong. The fact that they were all attending the same university was really cool that way the six friends would always be together.

"Hey, thank you both for coming. I wasn't sure you'd show up actually so..." Brandon said guiding both Adrian and Mayo to take the seats across him. They had their reservations about meeting him but decided to give him the benefit of a doubt.
"Well... I just wanna apologize for how I acted. I don't deserve you guys' forgiveness for terrorizing you both, especially Adrian. I just, I don't know what I thought was going to happen, separating you two was not cool. So I'm really sorry. I'll be moving away after graduation so you don't have to worry about seeing my face ever again." He chuckled sadly but Mayo knew he was hurting.
"Look, I can't promise that I'll fully forgive you for what you did to us but, apology accepted. The way you went about things was just Fucked up. I bet we could have been great friends even, but you know how that turned out." Adrian said with finality.
" I don't entirely hate you or anything but what you did, I just don't think it's healthy the way you went about things. Adrian and I are seeing a therapist, maybe you should too, maybe that will help you work through your issues like we are. Maybe few years down the line when we come for a reunion or something, we'll have healed from this and maybe, just maybe we'll be great friends then. " Mayo finished with a little smile.
"Yeah maybe. " Brandon returned a sad smile. After they were done conversing, they parted ways.

Mayo couldn't wait to get home and get in bed. Adrian was going to be next to him of course and that was a bonus he was willing to accept with open arms. Once they were cuddled and comfortable, they watched a movie and just chilled until it was time to sleep.
"Don't, no no no..." Mayo's words fell to deaf ears as Adrian spun around holding him tight and all Mayo could do was laugh out loud. They were attempting to cure their boredom by washing the cars in the driveway but that wasn't really going anywhere. Mayo who had the water hose tried to spray Adrian who in turn resulted to spin him around once he got hold of Mayo.

Two days later, Mayo and Rio were hanging out but not without the company of Issa and Adrian who were currently playing ps5 and cursing up a storm.
"So how's therapy, is he doing okay?" Rio asked Mayo who was struggling to get the cadbury wrapper open. He slowly got up and made his way to Adrian who paused his game, opened the wrapper for him and in turn got a thank you kiss whilst returning to his game.
"It's going well, he seems to be a lot happier and in control of his emotions nowadays... He communicates with me openly now and he's taking everything one day at a time." Mayo narrated and shared the chocolate bar with Rio. They continued to hang out until it was time for Rio and Issa to get home.

Saturday which was graduation day came faster than the flash. Everyone was gathered at the school grounds and slowly making their way to the football pitch where the main event was to be held. When either of the friends was called, the rest of the gang and family would scream and gas up the friend until they got their diploma. After Issa and Rio got done with their speeches everyone at the grounds was in tears and once the caps were thrown to the air, that made it official, they graduated. Now was the time to party. Josh a school jock had organised one at his family's lake house and that called for some teenage misbehaving. Well they misbehaved yes but not to the point of getting arrested for causing havoc.

In the midst of the teenage crowd was Rio and Issa who were having the time of their lives on the dance floor. Adrian and Mayo opted to sit this one out since they couldn't drink alcohol as per therapy rules. Kimmy and Carl were making out in the corner and once in awhile would look out for Issa and Rio in case they got super drunk and had to be taken care of. The party was an epitome of farewell because after this epic night, it was time to take up responsibility and become better citizens of society (lol).
Monday night, the families gathered to congratulate the kids for graduating and getting into their desired universities. Overall, it was a nice dinner, presents and gifts were exchanged and by the time the night came to an end, everyone was content.
" I can't believe you Pa got us an apartment building in our name and we're not even married yet." Adrian exclaimed getting into bed.
" I think he just wants us to be comfortable plus it's near the university and we could rent out the apartments to students and stay in the penthouse while we plan our future.
" It's going to be a great future I can tell you that... Also you're stuck with me so prepare for that too. " Adrian chuckled while placing a kiss to Mayo's cheek.
"Que Pasa Contigo... What are planning?" Mayo moved so that he was face to face with the love of his life.
"Nothing much, I just wanna make you happy everyday for the rest of our lives. Don't worry I'm not proposing... Yet, I just really love you a lot." Adrian stated smiling from ear to ear. Mayo couldn't help but tear up a little but Adrian was there to kiss the tears away.
"I really love you too Mi Amor." Mayo said kissing Adrian deeply.

"Okay clearly you have to sex christen every corner of this penthouse because it is gorgeous... And you don't have to worry about disturbing the neighbors either." Rio exclaims looking around.
"Estupido, (stupid) stop. " Mayo's laughter bellows and rest just shake their heads in understanding. They share a couple of drinks and enjoy their time together until Rio and Issa go to their upperhill estate one hour away from the penthouse. The estate belongs to Issa's family and they'll be staying there for their four years of university.
"So, where do we begin, the kitchen? " Adrian asks with an evil smirk on his stupid face.
"Ai dios mio, fine let's go." Mayo smiles leading the way. And yes they did christen the whole penthouse.
